The Puppeteer was a hostile Boss introduced during Chapter 6: Season 1. It can be found puppeteering The Night Rose in Demon's Dojo before The Confrontation Event.

Phase 1: BATTLE THE NIGHT ROSE![]
During this phase, The Puppeteer is invulnerable as it watches The Night Rose battle the current target.

Phase 2: DEFEAT THE NIGHT ROSE![]
Once The Night Rose's health is depleted, she will be knocked down, but then pulled back in by The Puppeteer shortly after. While strung up by him, The Night Rose will have 100% damage resistance until she is back on her feet.

250 Health each. Attacking them enough times will cause them to stop glowing, and destroying both will stun The Puppeteer, thus forcing him to drop The Night Rose. This enables her to attack the player and become vulnerable again. She will be quickly picked up again if she is brought to 50% health or 15 seconds has passed after she is released.

Note: The Night Rose and The Puppeteer constantly teleport around unintentionally in the Replay Client. Causing syncing issues
During the time when The Puppeteer is active, he will use the following abilities:
- Demonic Spirit Warp
- Vanishes and re-appears on another corner of the arena.
- Explosive Screaming Masks
- Fires a slow 3-round burst of Fire Oni Masks that fly towards the target, dealing 20 damage in a small AoE.

- Added The Puppeteer as a Boss. It can be found at Demon's Dojo.
- December 5th 2024: Decreased The Puppeteer's Explosive Screaming Masks damage from 35 to 20.
- Reduced the Explosion Radius of The Puppeteer's Explosive Screaming Masks by 50%.

- Added a new overhead popup for when The Puppeteer holds up The Night Rose in phase 2.

- February 15th 2025: The Night Rose was freed from The Puppeteer. It no longer spawns as a Boss.

The Puppeteer is a type of gigantic semi-sentient Mask of Power created by Demon Warriors. Puppeteer masks are used by powerful demons such as Shogun X to bind and control their puppet remotely.
It is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the secondary antagonist of Chapter 6: Season 1.

The Puppeteer is a giant floating Oni mask with two burning void magic eyes, two floating hands and dark smoke emitted from its back. On both of its hands are magical strings tied to its puppet.
