Guards[]
Kintsugi Demon Guards, also known as Spire Spawn[1] or simply as Demon Guards were neutral Guards in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced during Chapter 6: Season 3.
Description
Description[]
Kintsugi Demon Guards are distinguished by class. This determines what weapons they hold and what roles they play.
- Light Guards
- Light Demon Guards are ordinary Guards that can be found patrolling in Demon's Domain, where they will only shoot at the player if they either attack them, their Boss Daigo, they block their path for too long, or they aim their weapon at them for too long. Other Light Demon Guards can be found with Scout Spires that will attack players on sight, and summoned by Overlord Spires and Kor to reinforce them in battle.
- Heavy Guards
- Heavy Demon Guards are heavily armored, slightly bigger, Spire Rifle wielding Demon Guards that only appear when battling Spires. They have a chance of appearinng instead of a Light Demon Guard when patrolling with a Scout Spire, or when summoned by an Overlord Spire.

Trivia
Trivia[]
- Just like the Alpha Guards during Chapter 6: Season 2, the Kintsugi Demon Guards use the same base model as the Demon Guards in Chapter 6: Season 1, with kintsugi repaired armor and masks for the Light Demon Guards, and solid gold armor for the Heavy Demon Guards.
- The Light Demon Guard's Epic TBD Outfit ID is Character_SkiffEye.
- The Heavy Demon Guard's Epic TBD Outfit ID is Character_SkiffToil.
- Unlike the Alpha Guards and Demon Guards, the Kintsugi Demon Guards' Outfits do not contain Robed in their codenames, despite being remakes.
- Light Demon Guard's voicelines utilize the same samples used by the Heavy Marauders during Chapter 2: Season 3. However unlike previous instances such as the IO Guards in Chapter 2: Season 5 or the Legion Tactical Guards in Chapter 5: Season 1, the pitch has not been modified and is slightly muffled.
- Heavy Demon Guard's voicelines utilize the same samples used by the IO Guards during Chapter 2: Season 7. Now no longer cropped unlike the Legion Heavy Guards and slightly muffled.
- The Heavy Demon Guards are the first Guards to utilize the Slightly Bigger height, mostly seen with Characters and Bosses like The Foundation, Doombot, Santa Shaq, and General Grievous.
- The Kintsugi Demon Guards are the first Guards to get LEGO Minifigure designs before becoming released Outfits with their appearance in LEGO Fortnite:Expeditions and LEGO Fortnite:Odyssey.
