Pepper Effect

Functionality[]

The pepper effect can be applied with a variety of items. It grants increased walking, crouching and swimming speed and greater momentum. The effect is indicated by a red trace left behind the player and puffs of white smoke coming from the player’s ears.

Danger Hero		Rare	Applies passive health regeneration and the Pepper Effect when the player's shield is broken.
Heisted Accelerant Shotgun		Exotic	Grants 5 seconds of Pepper Effect when used to deal damage to another player.
Ice Spice's Rifle		Mythic	Temporarily gives the Pepper Effect after hitting an opponent.
Lawless Accelerant Holo Twister AR		Exotic	Briefly grants the Pepper Effect when fired.

If you use two different items from the list simultaneously, their effects will stack, resulting in even greater speed.

Trivia[]

• The effect can be applied to any AI or Animal, but shows no effect on Cube Monsters.
• The effect was planned to have been introduced around Season 5 with a foraged "Hot Sauce" consumable. It was eventually scrapped (and most likely recycled into the Pepper) while its model was recycled for a prop available in Creative.
