The South Park boys are arriving in Fortnite on January 9! Wreak havoc with new loot, explore the Cartmanland POI, and jump into the new Quints 5-person playlist on the Golden Coast. Also unlock South Park items from the free Born in Chaos Pass and look out for Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters in the Shop.

The boys are creating chaos on the Island with the power of imagination. Control the Storm with the Stick of Truth, heal yourself or damage enemies with Cheesy Poofs, and automatically reboot with Kenny’s Respawn Token.

Navigate to the “Born in Chaos” tab to get to the Born in Chaos Pass. No V-Bucks required. This new Pass has 13 South Park-themed items you can unlock by completing South Park Quests, like the Backpack of CRED Back Bling, Terrance and Phillip Pickaxe, and Cheesy Poofs Rocketship Emote.
Complete all the Quests and you’ll get the Imaginationland Airship Glider!
Unleash Chaos on the Golden Coast from South Park, Colorado[]
Anything is possible with the power of imagination! The South Park kids arrive on the Golden Coast on January 9, and they’re here to break the rules.
New Item: The Stick of Truth
The one-time-use Stick of Truth may descend from the sky for any mere mortal to wield. Control the Storm by retrieving it and watch as it immediately shrinks to surround you for the final circle.
New Item: Cheesy Poofs
Packed full of… ingredients, Cheesy Poofs can give you a quick pick-me-up! Cheesy Poofs restore Health quickly, and you can even eat them while sprinting. Throw them to heal allies or damage enemies.
New Item: Kenny’s Respawn Token
It’s just like Kenny said: “Mmph rmph mmph... phrm mmph!” Translation? If you find the one-time-use Kenny’s Respawn Token, it’ll automatically reboot you after being eliminated.
New POI: Cartmanland
There’s no height requirement at Cartman’s personal theme park, Cartmanland, which features rides like CHAOS BLAST, Voyage to the Center of the Planet, and Pi Pi’s Lazy River.

Hey everyone! Update v39.20 has just landed! Dive into the notes to see what’s bugs we’ve resolved. Also be on the lookout for an increase in ELEMENTAL Wolves! They're roaming in increased numbers across your worlds 🐺

- Fixed an issue where the Lost Isles area was not presented correctly.
- Llyod can no longer accidentally walk off the Monastery.
- The Lost Master is no longer very easy to stun when he is locked.
- Fixed a bug where some players could not place their beds to complete the Journal task.
- Resolved an issue where the Elemental Shrines would drop an extra ink.
- Fixed Ritual Oil not dropping from the Bell Demon or from the Elite Ninja.
- Rewards in chests from the Chaos Challenges are now instances, you can now progress through these quests.
- The Fire Dragon is no longer stuck in a place while attacking.
- Fixed an issue where players could use Spinjitzu while their Stamina was recharging.
- You can no longer accidentally destroy timed chests.
- Fixed an issue where each hit wasn’t dealing Elemental Affliction damage to the Bell Demon.
- Reward chests now properly appear.
- Fixed an issue with the Earth Ninja’s Attack not dealing any damage.
- Fixed the Bell Demon not spawning.
- Resolved an issue where Elemental Shrines were spawning too close to each other.
- The journal and village square quest "Collect 10 Eyes of the Storm" progresses correctly when collecting Eyes of the Storm from Treasure Chests.
- Fixed an issue where a map tile changed color when navigating on it.
- Interacting with the Buff shrines now completes relevant urgent quests.
- Fixed the “Simpsons Family Piano” Prop not playing music on interact.
- All Simpsons Wall Props can now be placed on Walls.

Happy New Year everyone! 🥳 Here’s a quick roundup of issues fixed in this update, as well as some we’re looking into:

- [Keyboard] Closing the map while moving no longer causes the player character to stop.
- Fixed an issue where weapons were incorrectly contributing to Venture Power Rating when in a Venture zone.
- Reloading certain weapons (e.g. Bows and Rocket Launchers) no longer forces players out of ADS (aiming down sights).
- Constructors’ Plasma Pulse grenades now correctly deploy and deal damage after firing a Bow.
- Gadget notification now correctly pops up after earning one through level-up.
- Mouse wheel scrolling now correctly switches between weapons when Slot Up and Slot Down are bound to Scroll Up and Scroll Down.
- Placeholder text no longer appears when on the Batch Recycle screen in an empty tab.

- The “X has joined the team” notification still displays Power Level and F.O.R.T. stat increase text, even though these stats no longer change when players join a party.
- Some abilities may be spammable while on cooldown, sometimes consuming Energy even though the ability is not actually activated.
- [Simple Edit] UI does not update to reflect the reset after editing a structure.
- When inspecting Heroes on the Manage screen, certain pieces of head textures (e.g. hair, beard, hats or full head) may not be visible.
- Directional Jump Pads won’t activate when Phase Shifting onto them.
- [Xbox One] Lighting may be missing on the Command and Mission Launch screens.
- Soldiers’ Shockwave ability may be locked out if interrupted by player-built ramps, roofs or sloped terrain.
- Hotwire's Overcharge Perk may not trigger lightning damage consistently.
- Releasing and pressing the Attack button again will restart lightning damage.
- The Hero Commander Buckle+ Perk currently provides reduced effective damage as weapon level increases.
- The player character may sometimes use an incorrect arm-sweep animation when interacting with world objects.
