The Dark Voyager, also known simply as The Voyager, is a cosmic explorer and a servant of The Last Reality. He is the owner of Dark Harvester, the current CEO of InnoLoop and the one who shot down the Battle Bus, before voyaging through multiple realities in search of the Zero Shards and clues about the remaining members of The Seven. He is the herald of Geno.
He is a major antagonist of Fortnite, serving as the main antagonist of Fortnite: Battle Royale Chapter 7, Fortnite: Reload Elite Stronghold, the overarching antagonist of Fortnite OG Chapter 1 and the main antagonist of Fortnite: Save the World A Voyager's Arrival.
Personality
Personality[]
The Dark Voyager is depicted as a highly calculating individual. He prefers to observe his enemies from afar, moving in the shadows and acting only when the moment is right. Cautious to the extreme, he often ensnares those who claim to be allies, exploiting them for his own gain before eliminating them. He values unwavering loyalty forged over aeons between him and his minions. Despite his composed demeanor, he takes pleasure in instilling fear in others. He also speaks in a very formal, almost medieval manner, further adding to his enigmatic presence.
Overall, The Voyager is an extremely cruel individual who does not care about the harm he causes to reality, having destroyed countless others before. He is also known to observe everything from his Dark Harvester, including other realities, monitoring allies, enemies and targets.
Appearance
Appearance[]
In his standard form, Dark Voyager wears a sleek black space suit reinforced with metallic plates and flexible armored sections. His defining feature is his glowing orange helmet: a fully opaque, smooth-visored dome that conceals whatever lies within. A floating Chaos Cube is often seen at his side. When the helmet is removed, a bright molten orange flaming skull is revealed.
In his unleashed form, Dark Voyager appears overwhelmed with cube-like energy. His upper body fractures into clusters of glowing orange cubes. Energy crackles around his skull, while his shoulders and torso dissolve into intensely radiant fragments. A vibrant orange light pulses from within the disintegrating armor, though the lower half of his suit remains fully intact.
In his final form, the Dark Voyager's body was completely disassembled into multiple cubes before being reassembled into a slimmer form, using the main Chaos Cube from his previous forms as his core. Pieces of black material formed around certain parts of its body, creating the beginnings of a crown on its head and a very light, spiky armor. Just like his Burning Voyager form, he's overflowing with energy.

Timeline
Timeline[]
Pre-Chapter 7[]
Dark Voyager traveled through space and time into multiple realities, which were ultimately destroyed. At some undetermined time, he incurred the hatred of The Visitor (Reality Unknown), an alternate timeline counterpart of The Visitor, one of the members of The Seven who succumbed to the Chrome of the Herald, another member of the Last Reality. The Visitor (Reality Unknown) chased the Dark Voyager ever since, witnessing all the horrible things he did.
Chapter 6: Mini Season 2[]
Zero Hour[]
After the Dark Presence's defeat on Oninoshima, Jones, Hope and the Looper were taken to the Golden Coast Island. They handed the Zero Shard to InnoLoop at InnoLoop Labs and things remained relatively stable, until the sudden arrival of the Dark Voyager. His spaceship, later identified as the Dark Harvester, appeared over the Golden Coast Island, immediately attacking and bringing down the Battle Bus and almost the bus driver with it.[3] before beginning its observation of the Island.
As the Dark Voyager's presence became known, Jones began linking him to events from his past in Reality Zero and sent a distress signal to call old allies. At the same time, unusual phenomena began to occur to Hope, disrupting her visions and rendering her unable to foresee what's coming.
Chapter 7: Season 1[]
Pacific Break[]
The Order arrived in Reality: 266 after receiving Jones' distress signal, quickly identifying abnormal concentrations of Zero Point energy across the Island. Her investigation suggested that someone else was actively searching for the Zero Shards, though their identity remained unknown at the time. This presence was later confirmed to be the Dark Voyager.
Lethal Labs[]
After some time, the Dark Voyager took over InnoLoop Labs and secured for himself the Zero Shard located there. In order to locate the other Shards more easily, he altered the Storm to his liking, allowing him to scan the energy signatures of the Zero Shards directly from Reality: 266.
After this, The Looper attempted to infiltrate his ranks. The Dark Voyager, intrigued, assigned them tasks to test their usefulness, including gathering intelligence on the Zero Shards and The Seven. However, this was a deception. He used The Looper for his own purposes before attempting to eliminate them, stating his preference for the loyalty of minions forged over aeons rather than that of an outsider. He then dispatched his forces, Skulldroid and NITE Unit Sniper, to carry out the execution. The attempt ultimately failed.
Setting the Stage with Kingston[]
In the following weeks, the Dark Voyager, who had deployed a large-scale scan of the Island ever since seizing InnoLoop, began forming a golden rift above his ship, preparing his departure toward another reality. At the same time, The Order continued her mission and set up camp near Ol' Stumpy, where she recorded a new mission log. She noted that Reality: 266 felt strangely familiar, yet something seemed off. The Loop appeared stable, but she noticed that the Storm had changed, leading her to believe someone was tampering with it, unaware that it was due to the Dark Voyager.
The Order's Mission[]
During her infiltration of Lethal Labs, The Order confirmed that the facility had been overtaken by forces loyal to the Dark Voyager. Her findings suggested a connection between him and The Last Reality, based on the design of the Dark Harvester, though she noted that there might be more than meets the eye, already suspecting that the Dark Voyager was acting on behalf of someone else.
However, before she could complete her mission, The Order was captured by the Dark Voyager and imprisoned within a secured cell. Shortly afterward, he departed Reality: 266 aboard the Dark Harvester.
The Reassembly: Shard 2[]
As Carina, a streamer, conspiracy theorist, and truth seeker, recruited The Looper to help uncover the truth, she directed them to investigate everything that remained mysterious. After having The Looper question Jones and Hope about the Dark Voyager on her behalf, both urged The Looper to persuade Carina to stay out of it, fearing for her safety.
Meanwhile, the golden rift began to reform, and before long the Dark Harvester emerged once more. Hope and Jones were stunned to learn that he had already secured a second Zero Shard, the ease of this standing in stark contrast to the battles they had fought just to retrieve one, and began questioning the Dark Voyager's true identity and purpose. They told The Looper they were not ready to confront him yet, but that they were building their forces in preparation for the fight ahead.
Breakpoint[]
As preparations began for the coming war against the Dark Voyager, his actions at Lethal Labs became increasingly apparent. Within the facility he controlled, The Order had been captured and imprisoned in a rumored secret cell, sealed inside a cubic barrier that prevented her from rifting out.
While Jones and The Looper trained with new weapons and gear in anticipation of confronting the Dark Voyager, The Looper infiltrated the underground section of Lethal Labs and discovered The Order's imprisonment. She instructed them to locate the blue-haired girl, later revealed to be Carina, who had been investigating the labs, and retrieve the keycard capable of disabling the barrier from her.
Following these instructions, The Looper assisted Carina in her research in exchange for the keycard. With the keycard secured, The Looper returned to the cell alongside Jones and Hope, successfully freeing The Order from the Dark Voyager's containment.
Her escape triggered the facility's alarms, prompting the Dark Voyager's forces, including Skulldroid and NITE Unit Sniper, to respond. Both were ultimately defeated, allowing The Order to escape and begin preparing to contact the remaining scattered members of The Seven, who would be needed for the conflict against the Dark Voyager.
The Stranger[]
As the threat of the Dark Voyager continued to grow, efforts intensified to gather forces capable of opposing him. The following week, The Looper contacted The Order, now patrolling at Classified Canyon, where she had begun organizing a response to his actions. She tasked them with assisting her new mission: constructing a device, based on emergency blueprints left behind by The Scientist, to contact The Seven, or whoever remained.
Following The Order's instructions, The Looper cleared a path for the signal and gathered the materials needed to build the transmitter, which was then installed under the antenna near the Battlewood sign. Once complete, The Order thanked them and assured The Looper that whoever answered the call, The Seven would soon stand against the Dark Voyager and put a stop to whatever he was planning with the Zero Shards. Jones and The Looper then began preparing a landing zone.
Visitor's Return[]
After some time, a red rift laced with Havoc Energy tore open the sky above the Golden Coast. Jones, Hope, The Order, and The Looper finished preparing a landing zone just in time, as The Visitor (Reality Unknown), an extra-reality counterpart of The Visitor who already had experience with the Dark Voyager, arrived in his rocket after receiving The Order's distress call.
When The Order made contact with him, both quickly recognized they were not the individuals they had expected to meet. The Visitor deduced that they originated from different realities or divergent timelines. Despite this, he agreed to aid the heroes, affirming that regardless of when or where they came from, The Seven stand united. He was then brought to the main base, where The Order and the others briefed him on the current situation.
In return, The Visitor shared his own experiences, recounting his long pursuit of the Dark Voyager, the countless realities he destroyed and the events that had led him there.
Interference[]
Tensions arose among those opposing the Dark Voyager regarding how to deal with him. While The Order advocated for direct investigation, The Visitor warned against engaging without fully understanding his power. He emphasized the danger the Dark Voyager posed, citing his pursuit across destroyed realities as evidence of his power and the risks involved, and argued that reckless actions should be avoided.
In the end, The Order managed to carry out the mission, with the help of The Looper and AMIE, allowing them to confirm the Dark Voyager wasn't acting on his own, but worked for someone else, as Order initially suspected.
The Reassembly: Shard 3 - First Wave[]
Aboard the Dark Harvester, the Dark Voyager kidnapped Fishstick in an attempt to extort information about his homeworld, which is home to the third Zero Point Shard needed to assemble the fractured Zero Point. After locating Reality: 7021 among the countless realities on his map, the Dark Voyager opened a rift to reach the planet housing Atlantis and its inhabitants.
The Zero Point Shard was pulled by the Dark Harvester from the bottom of the ocean, causing the city to dry up and the fisherman floating above it to be extracted along with the artifact. Once inside the ship, the Dark Voyager sent his Trespassers to remove the intruder who was angrily confronting the confused Fishstick.
The Dark Voyager quickly returned to Reality: 266 and extracted the third shard from his ship, placing it with the others at Lethal Labs. Hope began to worry about how easily the Dark Voyager had been able to gather three Zero Point Shards with his ship, especially compared to the challenges she had faced retrieving just one.
Final Wave[]
As the Second Wave concludes with the third Zero Point Shard placed with the others, the Dark Voyager enacts his Final Wave, starting to charge the Zero Point Shards with the Dark Harvester energy beam. Once charged, the ship shoots a final blow strong enough to generate Zero Point tendrils and opening three shard distortions at Clawsy Lodge, Bumpy Bay and near Looper's Leap.
After the blow, the Dark Harvester shortly loses energy, but its systems are quickly rebooted while Void Walker Lynx her master observe the position of the distortions.[4].
Chapter 7: Season 2[]
After making an appearance with Exalted Ice King, the Dark Voyager leaves Reality: 266 to search for the 7th Zero Point Shard.
OG Chapter 1: Season 8[]
The Dark Harvester arrived on Loot Lake through a red golden rift. The ship scanned the lake for a few days before leaving.
Save the World: A Voyager's Arrival[]
The Dark Harvester appeared near Homebase and began deploying Dark Voyager Drones across the area in an attempt to locate a Zero Point Shard. The search ended up empty handed.
Reload: Elite Stronghold[]
The Dark Harvester arrived at Elite Armory and began abducting the 7th Zero Point Shard from The Elites. The Elites fought back with anti-aircraft turrets, but none of their bullets managed to pierce the Dark Harvester's shield.
Answer The Call[]
The Dark Voyager abducts and fuses both the Swift Shard and the shard at Squibbly Shores, promoting The Seven to prepare an assault on his ship. As this was happening, he contacts The Looper, requesting weapons for the final confrontation.
Shattered[]
As the Dark Voyager approaches Reality 266, he contacts the Ice King, who briefly banters with him asking if he is "taking the scenic route". During their conversations, the Dark Voyager "intercepts" recordings from Team Foundation and plays them to the Ice King, revealing their ambush plan, before also putting his master on the comms, who proclaims that the Zero Point is the only thing that matters.
The Dark Harvester is then escorted by a squadron of jetpacks including The Looper (should the player choose Team Ice King) among with other loopers, who all approach Dark Dominion. There, The Foundation challenges the Ice King and attempts to fire the shield breaker, which malfunctions (possibly due to sabotage). After a brief skirmish, The Foundation manages to fire the shield breaker, disabling the Dark Harvester's shield as Team Foundation (including The Looper if the player chose Team Foundation) fire at the tractor beam and cause it to release the shard. Then, The Foundation and the Ice King start fighting to the death, with Foundation wielding the released shard as a weapon.
During the fight, The Foundation tunnel visions on the Ice King and releases the shard to face him, which allows the Dark Voyager to seize the shard again and escort it towards the Zero Point as the Ice King freezes The Foundation after winning the rivalry.
After fusing the final shard, the Dark Voyager thanks the Ice King for playing his part, before assuming his unleashed form and disintegrating him with Chaos Energy, possibly claiming his power as he proclaims their agreement is "complete". Then, he returns to the Dark Harvester and starts pummeling the reformed Zero Point with energy, causing the island to shift between various realities including an underworld/halloween themed reality, an ice reality, a volcanic reality and a fall reality, however, this is stopped by The Looper, wielding the rematerialized Infinity Blade, who slices the Dark Harvester in two, though the Dark Voyager's assault left the Zero Point unstable and the Dark Voyager himself is still alive.
The Dark Voyager then flies towards Team Foundation's base, tanking Jones's shots before Geno shoots him, revealing himself as The Visitor (Reality Unknown)'s true Identity. He then asks Geno what his next orders are.
Chapter 7: Season 3[]
The Dark Voyager takes over Sandy Strip, placing barricades around the city and retrofitting the buildings with his technology and propaganda.
Trivia
Trivia[]
- Jones notes that the Dark Voyager has the scent of "the emptiness of dead realities" on him, implying he already destroyed several realities on his own.
- This is seemingly confirmed by The Visitor (Reality Unknown), who's been chasing him across realities, witnessing him ending countless worlds.
- For some reason, the Dark Harvester's navigation system uses the IO/Seven alphabet instead of cube glyphs or alien's own alphabet.
- This was likely done to foreshadow the reveal that Geno was his master.
- The Dark Voyager has an alternate-reality counterpart, the Eternal Voyager, who was introduced in Season X.
- Although the two share visual similarities, the Eternal Voyager is not cube-based and is not affiliated with The Last Reality.
- Eternal Voyager met his end in Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point, where The Zero Point discorporated him, scattering his molecules across countless realities.
- Interestingly, Dark Voyager's cube-fragmented form bears a notable resemblance to the Eternal Voyager's disassembled state.
- In Chapter 7: Season 2 Cinematic Trailer, the Dark Harvester's navigation system describes Reality: 7021's Sprite Utopia Moon as "This is absolute bullshit."
