Dark Harvester

Gameplay Functionality[]

The Dark Harvester had a shield covering the entire vessel and player builds are not allowed near the shield. Coming into any contact with the shield at all will bounce the player off of it.

Battle Royale/OG[]

When shot at, The Dark Harvester will rotate to lock onto the attacking player and fire a laser beam at them. The laser beam has infinite range, pierces structures, and deals 500 damage. The beam cannot pierce terrain and Shield Bubbles.

Save the World[]

The ship will appear outside the map in all Missions except Storm Shield Defense.

Fortnite: Reload[]

The Dark Harvester will periodically scans the general area of Elite Armory.

Strategy[]

• The Shield surrounding the Dark Harvester disables gliders and does not inflict fall damage, making it a way to land early or move quickly across the Island.
• Though difficult to utilize reliably, being in range of the Dark Harvester's scanner gives vital info on enemy and chest locations for a generous duration of time. Be warned that this applies to the enemy seeing you as well.
• Despite being somewhat risky, you can attempt to shoot at the Dark Harvester during a fight, and position yourself in a way that will cause the laser to eliminate your opponent.
• When you are running away from a player, you can use a wingsuit to run away as well as baiting the enemy to shoot the Dark Harvester when the enemy tries to shoot you down with an Assault Rifle.

• The Dark Harvester's general codename is "FlyingOrb".
  • The Dark Harvester's Battle Royale codename is "DragonCartNarrative".
  • The Dark Harvester's OG codename is "BlindBird".
  • The Dark Harvester's Save the World codename is "NeonCompass".
  • The Dark Harvester's Reload codename is "RoundFork".
• The Dark Harvester bears some similarity in design to The Cube's Cradle, though its significantly smaller, more streamlined, and has many visual differences.
• Being eliminated by the Dark Harvester's beam attack will display "Orbliterated By" instead of "Eliminated By", and the eliminator as "The Dark Voyager".
  • In Zero Build, The Dark Voyager is shown to have 99 Overshields.
• Even when it glows red, the Dark Harvester does not use Revin the Cube's runes.
• While it's only possible to see through the game files, the Dark Harvester has 1 Quintillion health (1 followed by 18 zeros).
  • Since the Dark Harvester is not immune to damage, the Reforged Infinity Blade can destroy it instantly using its leap attack.
• The Dark Harvester's Tractor Beam was modeled inside the ship's lowest LOD (Level of Detail) model during Update v39.00, way before it was revealed in Update v39.30. Strangely the Tractor Beam is not modeled inside the ship's highest detail level.
