Buildup[]

The Event[]

The event is first presented in two different segments that occur concurrently. Whichever segment the player experiences is dependent on their allegiance.

Team Foundation[]

Inside The Seven's bunker hidden at the Battlewood Sign, The Foundation, The Visitor, and Jones await the Dark Voyager's arrival with the final Zero Point Shard in order to destroy the Voyager's Dark Harvester and secure the Shard. When the Dark Voyager arrives, the Foundation heads out with Jones staying behind on a radio call. Although Jones is tracking the Ice King, the Foundation decides to prioritize his vendetta instead. For the coming battle, Team Foundation is granted Vector 7 DMRs and special Anvil Rocket Launchers to use on the Dark Harvester, arriving at the Zero Point via Skyline Deployers and cloaking technology.

Inside the bunker are four white buttons that cause a light to flicker for a short moment. If players were able to activate all four buttons, the hatch in the ceiling will open, allowing players to exit out of the bunker and get a better view.

Team Ice King[]

On his throne, the Ice King retrieves the Infinity Blade as the Dark Voyager informs him of his arrival. Once he returns to Reality: 266 with the final Shard, the Ice King joins him to reunite it with the rest of the Zero Point, flying alongside the Dark Harvester to assert their strength and dominance. For the coming battle, Team Ice King is granted Jetpacks and Ice Gauntlets.

Frigid Fortress' main castle is more damaged from battle, with some building pieces made to be an optional parkour course. Reaching the top will allow players to pick up Chiller Grenades that they can only use while still waiting.

Showdown[]

Team Foundation and Team Ice King meet at the Zero Point in Dark Dominion. The Foundation attempts to shut down the Harvester's shield with the shield buster only for the EMP weapon to malfunction and stun him for a short moment. Jones realizes they had been lured into a trap and both teams exchanges fire on each other, with Team Foundation succeeding in disabling the Harvester, causing Team Ice King to be temporarily stunned in return. The Foundation and the Ice King then engage in a head-on fight, and when Jones reminds the Foundation of his mission to escort the Shard away, he instead uses it as a weapon, much to his and the Dark Voyager's shock, to deflect attacks from the Ice King's Infinity Blade, which begins to tear the Island apart. The Infinity Blade becomes lodged in the Shard and turns into a flock of Rift Butterflies.

The Looper's soul is projected into either the Foundation or the Ice King (depending on the player's allegiance) as their brawl continues, damaging parts of Dark Dominion. When the Foundation attempts to finish the Ice King off, the Ice King freezes the Foundation into ice, having won the Showdown. However, the Ice King's victory is short-lived as the Dark Voyager, declaring his duties fulfilled, obliterates him.

The final Shard is reunited with the Zero Point, which is then blasted with an intense beam of energy by the Dark Harvester. Jones signals his team to retreat as the Zero Point begins to go haywire, shattering the Island as reality is warped. A Rift Butterfly delivers the Infinity Blade to the Looper, allowing them to slice the Orb in half. Preventing further energy overloading, but permanently changing the Golden Coast to the Shattered Coast.

Epilogue[]

In the wake of the Zero Point's reconstruction, the Dark Voyager flies towards The Seven's bunker to confront Jones and the Visitor. As Jones holds out against the Dark Voyager, Visitor reveals that this was part of the plan all along. He shoots Jones behind him in the abdomen, betraying him and revealing himself as Geno, the founder of the Imagined Order, the Dark Voyager's master, and the mole among the Seven. Critically injured, Jones is kicked aside as the Dark Voyager awaits Geno's next command.
