The Event
The Event[]
Pre-Event[]
Inside a lab assembled right beside Springfield Town Square, Hope and Jones are busy configuring the Rift Device as the embiggened Homer Simpson sleeps in the central square. There is a red button besides the window that overlooks the town square, and pressing it summons giant donuts through a rift to fall on Homer in a fruitless attempt to wake him up. There are rakes littered all over the lab and the cavernous passageway that encircles it. Several valves that are on the pipes in the lab can be turned, but this only has a visual effect. The ventilation shaft above Jones and Hope also doubles as a parkour course, with a red button at the end that sends players back down to the bottom.
With 8 minutes counting down towards the event, Hope and Jones began contacting various individuals throughout the Omniverse for help, with their primary contacts being Kong, Godzilla, Superman, the Power Rangers, the Mecha Team Leader, and the Resistance.
Zero Hour[]
Hope and Jones established numerous Rift Beacons in multiple realities within the Omniverse, which Jones uses to broadcast a distress message in those realities and rally a large number of heroes to Oninoshima to help fight the Dark Presence. With the plans now set into motion, Jones uses the Rift Device to rift them out of Springfield, but due to improper calibration, they find themselves in a handful of other realities instead. These include a Hatsune Miku concert, an encounter with Playboi Carti on a basketball court, a visit into a reality where inanimate objects had become sentient, and back to Springfield.
They eventually find themselves back onto Oninoshima, which had become heavily corrupted by the Dark Presence's influence. A large number of rifts appear behind them, and the innumerable bands of heroes rendezvous with Oninoshima's residents before following Jones into battle. Their path to the Dark Presence is blocked when Kong is thrown to the ground, so the Looper joins HUNTR/X and O.X.R. in fighting the Dark Presence in the skies as he fends off Kong once more. After tossing him aside, the Dark Presence swats their Choppas out of the sky.
As HUNTR/X glide back to the battlefield, the Looper is ambushed and cornered by a tentacle. The Bride intervenes and gives the Looper a ride back to the front lines on a motorbike, where the battle is going poorly; the Imperial Star Destroyer is split in two, Homer is dragged down by a tentacle, The Devourer is blasted onto the side, Megazord and Mecha Team Leader are pinned down, and Godzilla and Kong are held at their throats by the Dark Presence. Jones gets the idea to rift a red Corruption Cube from another reality to the battlefield, which a bewildered Hope admonishes as a far-fetched act. The Cube and the Dark Presence exchange blows with intense rays of energy that allows the Looper to deal critical damage to the Dark Presence, but then he uses Kong's body as a shield to take the blast before throwing him at the Cube to knock it away, causing it to go haywire. Mecha Team Leader returns and punts it back to the Dark Presence, who is vanquished in the resulting explosion.
Now liberated from the Dark Presence, the Zero Point Shard produces a reality wave that returns the summoned allies back to their home realities while also reforming the area torn from battle, purifying Oninoshima of all demonic magic and sealing it off from the Spirit Realm. Afterwards, the Shard draws the Looper inside.
As Hope, Jones, and the Looper travel to a new Island, a mysterious spacecraft shoots down the Battle Bus.

- ...marked the first time characters from Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and Image Comics have appeared together in an official medium.
- ...marked the first time user-generated content (UGC) appeared from various Creative maps and experiences, those being the Italian Brainrots from Steal the Brainrot by FeRinS, the Gold Slime from Lumberjack Heroes by ItsJacky, and a Fully Operational Annihilation Device (FOAD) from Boom Tycoon and Boom Wars by FOAD. Additionally, a Havoc Hotel sign from the eponymous experience by Tera Creators can be found in the debris right before boarding on the Hammerhead Choppa.
- One of the realities Jones and Hope end up in as a result of the Rift Device's miscalibration has everyone turn into inanimate objects, possibly acting as a reference to Prop Hunt, a popular genre of user-generated maps.
- ... is the first Live Event to feature Icon Series streamers.
- ...has the largest ensemble of characters of any Live Event, featuring 18 major IP collaborations and 15 real-life icons:
- The news tab announcement uses the phrase "save all reality", which coincidentally, is also featured in the description for The Devourer of Worlds event.
- The event music is split in two files, for Epic Games owned IPs (Noir reality, Fall Guys, and other Fortnite original mixes), and third-party music (Playboi Carti, The Simpsons, Star Wars, KPop Demon Hunters, Kill Bill).
- Despite the separation, the setting to mute copyrighted music is disregarded in this event.
- The Omniverse theme, which first appeared in The Big Bang, is reprised for Zero Hour.
- During the Hatsune Miku concert, "Miku" is played from the Miku Live Emote.
- Hatsune Miku's concert takes place in the Battle Stage of Fortnite Festival Season 7, which is the same Festival Season she was the face of.
- During the reality-hopping segment before the arrival to Oninoshima, the comic book reality uses the 2D comic assets from the Super Showdown Live Event.
- In the "How It's Done" segment, Hatsune Miku is perched on top of Godzilla as they execute a joint laser attack on the Dark Presence using their Miku Miku Beam and Atomic Breath respectively, paying homage to the two characters' "friendship" through their joint appearances in media.
- The Hammerhead Choppa that was swatted out of the air by the Dark Presence is the second aircraft HUNTR/X had crashed on Oninoshima, after their private jet.
- The Dino Megazord uses the Outfit model rather than the Playable Boss model.
- However, the Playable Boss model was included with all the other giant models. So the Outfit model being used was likely a mistake.
- While the Galactic Empire's Imperial TIE Fighters were present during the battle, the models primarily shown in the event area are the First Order Special Forces TIE Fighters.
- The battle against the Dark Presence took place on the ruins of Ranger's Rest, which sat on the former location of Nightshift Forest. The latter location saw the end of The Shattering War and the initial arrival of the Zero Point Shard on Oninoshima.
- While Invincible first appears with the other heroes in the blue-and-black suit featured in the "Invincible War" arc, he later can be seen on the ground during The Bride's motorbike sequence in his traditional yellow-and-blue suit.
- The ending to Zero Hour mirrors the ending to KPop Demon Hunters, with the defeat of a demon lord and the purification of the world from demonic influence through the creation of a blue-colored magical barrier separating it from a demon-populated realm.
- To create the illusion of massive armies of cross-reality allies and loopers aiding the players, many low poly models were made as crowd filler.
- During the moment where characters from other realities were rifted onto Oninoshima the character models include:
- Rare Survivalist Jonesy.
- A green Cube Fiend.
- Archetype.
- The Online Test version of Survivalist Jonesy.
- The Online Test version of Kyle.
- Rocket Raccoon.
- A female Seven Sentry.
- When armies of Loopers rallied against the Dark Presence the character models and weapons include:
- Agent Webb with a Low Tier Submachine Gun.
