- — The Visitor (Reality Unknown)
Geno, also spelled Genō and later known as The Visitor, is the founder and leader of the Imagined Order, as well as the founder and former leader of the Oathbound. First mentioned by Jones during the introductory cinematic of Zero Crisis Finale, he is also the father of The Imagined and The Order.
After being reformed after the Zero War, he allied himself with the Dark Voyager and later took the identity of a "Visitor from an alternate timeline" in order to join and infiltrate the Seven, who were reforming with the aim of working towards the restoration of The Zero Point.
He is a major antagonist of Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the overarching antagonist of Chapter 1, Chapter 2 and Chapter 7 and the main antagonist of the first half of Chapter 3.
Personality
Personality[]
Geno is a cold, arrogant, and perfection-obsessed genetic scientist who sees himself not as a villain, but as the savior of The Omniverse. Convinced that perfection is the only path to preserving reality, he devoted himself to achieving it regardless of the cost. To further this goal, he subjugated The Zero Point, created The Loop on Reality Zero, and spent centuries searching for what he considered the perfect organizational system capable of producing the perfect civilization. He views imperfection with contempt, dismissing his enemies as failures unworthy of existence, and believes that his vision is the only viable way to safeguard reality. This conviction, reinforced by millennia of self-imposed responsibility, often borders on outright hubris.
Despite this, Geno is not entirely devoid of complexity. Although he abandoned The Sisters, The Imagined and The Order, and later regarded them as enemies due to their alliance with The Seven, he consistently refrained from directly harming them. He repeatedly offered them the opportunity to live safely if they chose to accept his protection, and when both he and the Imagined began discorporating during their struggle within the Zero Point, he desperately attempted to save her. In doing so, he claimed that abandoning the Sisters had been a misguided attempt to free them rather than an act of cruelty.
Geno is also highly manipulative and deceptive. During the Zero War, he presented himself as willing to hand control over to The Foundation and The Seven following their victory over him, while delivering a monologue about the true "hero" and his "burden", in order to elicit sympathy. In reality, he intended to fake his death and continue his plans from the shadows. Following his defeat, however, he largely abandoned any pretense of heroism, becoming noticeably harsher and more openly embracing his ruthless nature in his return.
While posing as The Visitor (Reality Unknown), Geno adopted the persona of a serious and intensely focused individual. The Order described him as both fatalistic and arrogant. Although far more talkative than the original Visitor, he also acts considerably more wrathful and driven by revenge. Much of this anger appears to stem from his pursuit of the Dark Voyager, whom he claims to have chased across space while witnessing countless atrocities. His abrasive personality frequently creates tension with his allies, particularly The Order. He often speaks harshly to both her and Hope, viewing them as overwhelmed by circumstances beyond their control. But in his great acting, he acts as if he was just a misguided hero seeking to do the right thing, while he just wants to use The Seven.
In contrast, The Ageless, a younger Snapshot of Geno, represents the man he once was. Guided by a knightly code of honor and far more personable than his original counterpart, The Ageless embraces challenge and combat while still striving to protect reality. Although he shares Geno's pursuit of perfection, it is tempered by discipline, pride, and a stronger sense of morality. The contrast between the two suggests that centuries of power, responsibility, and obsession gradually transformed Geno into the rigid architect of order he would eventually become.
Appearance
Appearance[]
Geno is a man with the look of a muscular middle-aged man, looking way older than The Ageless, and featuring jet black hair with a white stripe and blue eyes. He wears a black suit with gold engravings, including the emblem of the Oathbound, on it.
In his Visitor persona, He wears armor mirroring that of the real Visitor, having the traditional capabilities and appearance of The Seven's armor, allowing him to deceive The Order, The Foundation and Jone.

Timeline
Timeline[]
Unknown time period[]
At an unspecified time period, Geno was the ruler of the Oathbound Empire. However, one day, under unknown circumstances, he discovered The Zero Point. He then founded the Imagined Order, abandoning the Oathbound, which was taken over by The Ageless, created around that time. Over the decades and centuries, Geno mastered science and genetics and genetically modified himself, while the Imagined Order, now led by an Inner Circle, Geno's closest allies, greatly expanded across many realities. When he had daughters with an unknown partner, he decided to genetically modify them even before their birth, in order to make them "perfect", making them far more performant than ordinary humans and functionally immortal, like himself.
At a time after the alteration of The Loop in Reality Zero, Geno made a bet with a member of the Inner Circle about if his "perfect" daughters would be the first to ever escape The Loop. They did escape, however not fast enough for him. When they returned home, Geno had seemingly replaced them with stronger Snapshots. However, all of this seems to have been a plot of Geno to set his daughters free. The plan ultimately backfired when his two daughters, now known as The Imagined and The Order, defected to The Seven, an inter-reality group dedicated to protecting the Omniverse. Convinced that Geno's manipulation of the Zero Point endangered the Omniverse's balance, and viewing both The Loop and the Imagined Order's agenda as fundamentally immoral, they vowed to dismantle the organization and save both the Zero Point and the Loopers. Imagined and Order also lost their memories of their past at some point.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
Geno appears in a photograph alongside a young Doctor Slone at Corny Complex.
Chapter 3: Season 2[]
As The Seven gained power and escaped Loopers united to form The Resistance against the Imagined Order in an effort to free the Zero Point, he commanded the complete destruction of Reality Zero and all who inhabited it through the activation of The Collider, a catastrophic doomsday device. At the same time, while The Imagined sought to uncover the truth about her origins, Geno persistently obstructed her efforts, ensuring she remained in the dark about her true identity. Most significantly, he erased every record of both of his daughters from the IO servers, an act considered impossible by Jones since the system was built to retain all data permanently.
Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War[]
Geno recruit Doctor Doom in the Inner Circle of the Imagined Order, recognizing him as a valuable asset to the organization. He then tasked Doom with retrieving the Zero Point Shard and using it to reclaim the Ice King's arsenal.
Collision / Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War #5[]
Geno contacts Doctor Slone and instructs her to activate The Collider. The transmission is intercepted by The Seven during their briefing on the Ice Moon. He remains positioned on an upper platform of The Collider, where he fires an energy beam at Iron Man, causing him to crash. The Imagined spots him and calls The Order for assistance. The Sisters and Wolverine ascend The Collider and detonate an explosion near him, initiating a confrontation.
After overpowering all of them, Geno chooses not to kill The Sisters and instead spares them, but The Order strikes him, causing all three to lose their footing and cling to the platform. While Order jam Geno's flying system, The Imagined sacrifices herself by jumping into The Zero Point, taking Geno with her while Wolverine prevent The Order from falling. Upon making contact with the uncontrolled Zero Point, they are transported to "The Realm", a pocket dimension belonging to Geno, and both began to discorporate and be scattered across The Omniverse.
They are later joined by Jones and The Foundation. Geno explains that he is unable to save his daughter or himself, acknowledging that they have won and have thwarted his plans, plans which were intended to protect and perfect every reality in the Omniverse. He adds that there is no point debating who the true hero is, stating that The Foundation will now have to prove that his own methods are better, and expressing hope that they are. Geno warns them of an impending danger and urges them to master the Zero Point by any means necessary, as it will be their only hope. At last, he says it feels good to lay down his burden after all this time, and that it will be nice to rest before he fades away.
After the end of the war, his remnants traverse multiple realities, eventually converging at a single point and reforming Geno. He would then begins new plans in the shadow, revealing his earlier persona was just a fake.
Chapter 4: Season 1[]
A younger Snapshot of Geno, called The Ageless, arrives on the new Island and establishes himself at The Citadel as the ruler of the Oathbound Empire.
Rift Warden Stellan is tormented by recurring visions of a being he refers to as the "Shapeless Man", whom he first encountered centuries ago in his youth. Stellan recounts that the Shapeless Man always said he Imagined a world of perfect Order. After the destruction of the Rift Gate and the opening of a new Sideways Rift, the Shapeless Man seems to believe his objective has been fulfilled and thereafter disappears from Stellan's dreams.
Pre-OG Chapter 1[]
Geno would later take the persona of The Visitor (Reality Unknown). In his fabricated backstory, "The Visitor" chased the Dark Voyager across space and witnessed countless realities being destroyed by him.
OG Chapter 1: Season 4[]
Still posing as The Visitor, Geno arrived to Reality: Unknown's Athena in the same way the original Visitor did in Reality Zero back in Season 4, travelling with a Meteor that crashed near Dusty Depot. Some weeks later, the meteor opened in the now-called Dusty Divot, which allows him to break free and escape, although he had a fight with The Government member and supersoldier called Alpha.[3] Escaping the battlefield alive, he imitated a nostalgic Visitor "reminiscing" about the scenery he experiences, "remembering" his time during Season 4.[4] After that, The Visitor - like his original counterpart - goes to Villain Lair and modified a movie prop rocket by using Hop Rocks and Meteor Fragments.[5]

After The Visitor finished upgrading the Rocket and planned its launch, Street Wave Teknique appeared and tagged the Rocket in front of the Visitor with her logo.
The Rocket Launch Event[]

Just before the Rocket launched, a red Rift Butterfly appeared and circled around The Looper before rifting to the Rocket and seemingly sabotaging it. As in the Reality Zero timeline, the Rocket launches - this time piloted by The Visitor (Reality Unknown). It mirrors its counterpart's flight, breaking off its booster mid-air before plummeting back toward the Island, activating four red beams that merge into a single massive one aimed directly at Tilted Towers.

Moments before impact, the Rocket enters a Rift. It then follows its original trajectory, with a Rift opening above Moisty Mire, and passes through the following locations in order: Lonely Lodge, Wailing Woods, Risky Reels, Loot Lake, Tilted Towers, and Greasy Grove before rifting again. A larger Rift then forms above Loot Lake, ejecting the Rocket into the sky, where it tears open a massive Sideways Rift. However, it is not blue like before, but red, the exact same as the red Rift Butterfly.

Following this, the crack in the sky began to spread more and more, and spatio-temporal anomalies manifested on the Island, rifting objects from the island away, exactly like in Reality Zero. However, the Tomatohead mascot rifted in Reality: 783 near Foxy Floodgate, and the meteor damaged Motel sign rifted onto Reload's Venture Island, in addition to The Durrr Burger mascot which has now appeared in the Blitz Reality. The rift had then brought Lazy Links, Paradise Palms, and Viking Village before it began to shrink, eventually leading up to the summoning of Revin the Cube.
Chapter Seven: Season 1[]
The Stranger[]
After the initial attack of the Dark Voyager in Reality: 266 and multiple adventures of Jones, Hope, Order and The Looper, the latter contacted The Order, now patrolling at Classified Canyon. She tasked them with assisting her new mission: constructing a device to contact The Seven — or whoever remained. She explained that the plan was drawn from a database of emergency blueprints left behind by The Scientist, and that the beacon they would build was designed to reach any surviving allies. Following The Order's instructions, The Looper cleared a path for the signal and gathered the materials needed to build the transmitter, which was then installed under the antenna near the Battlewood sign. Once complete, The Order thanked them and assured The Looper that whoever answered the call, The Seven would soon stand against the Dark Voyager and put a stop to whatever he was planning with the Zero Shards. Jones also concluded his training regime, having The Looper sharpen their combat skills and clear debris at the Canyon to prepare a landing zone for incoming allies.
Visitor's Return[]
After some time, a red rift laced with Havoc Energy tore open the sky above the Golden Coast. Jones, Hope, The Order, and The Looper finished preparing the landing zone just in time. As the rift began to glow intensely, a rocket burst through — generating a chain of rifts that gradually cleansed the vessel of the Havoc energy contaminating it. Following a series of complex maneuvers and rift jumps, and narrowly avoiding a collision with The Shape, the rocket stabilized and executed a safe landing on the newly constructed platform at Classified Canyon. Geno, under the guise of The Visitor, had arrived.
When The Order made contact with him, both quickly recognized they were not the individuals they had expected to meet. The Visitor deduced that they originated from different realities or divergent timelines. Despite this, he agreed to aid the heroes, affirming that regardless of when or where they came from, The Seven stand united. He was then brought to the main base, where The Order and the others briefed him on the current situation. In return, The Visitor shared his own experiences — recounting his pursuit of the Dark Voyager and the events that had led him there. He then enlisted The Looper's help in improving the new base by testing hiding spots, clearing threats at the Canyon, and evaluating the new Seven gear he had supplied.
Interference[]
Not long after his arrival, The Visitor grew increasingly uneasy with The Order's approach to investigating the Dark Voyager. Concerned by her methods, he asked The Looper to speak with her and persuade her to reconsider. The Order, however, instructed The Looper to disregard The Visitor's concerns. Using Stealth Splash as camouflage, The Order and The Looper attempted to outmaneuver the Dark Voyager. During the operation, The Order contacted The Visitor again, urging him to assist if he was truly so worried about the plan. He refused, insisting that confronting the Dark Voyager directly was unwise — especially since they still did not fully understand his capabilities. The Order countered that they would never learn what he was capable of without conducting reconnaissance.
As they began sabotaging the Dark Voyager's work at Lethal Labs, The Visitor reached out once more, ordering The Order to stay away from the enemy. She refused, stating she did not take orders from him. In response, The Visitor reminded her that he had pursued the Voyager through the husks of burned-out stars and the ashes of collapsing realities and that if he were so easily defeated, he would have already done so. The Order retorted that they had only just met and that she did not know his capabilities, before cutting off communication.
Later, after The Order dispatched The Looper to investigate the Shards, The Visitor contacted them again. He accused The Order of endangering the mission through her hubris and impatience, remarking that she had become reckless — just like her sister. The Order replied that The Imagined would have understood the stakes and expressed surprise that he did not. The Visitor then asked whether she had learned nothing from losing her. She answered that she had learned one thing: when everything is on the line, it is better to be reckless than timid. The Order then instructed The Looper to await her next call.

Trivia
Trivia[]
- The word Geno means "birth", "race", "family" or "origin".
- Geno has a Snapshot of himself as a young man known as The Ageless which was introduced in the game during Chapter 4: Season 1. This version is the ruler of the Oathbound, the predecessors of the Imagined Order.
- The Ageless' appearance was revealed way before Geno's in a skin survey.
- Jones asks "Who is that?" just as the Zero Point focuses on Geno near the end of Collision. This implies Jones never saw him in person during his time at the Imagined Order. Although it may also, or only, be because Geno doesn't look human at that moment.
- It's later revealed during Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War Issue 1 that Jones thought Gunnar was him, and that he was having meetings with his "big boss".
- In Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War Issue 5, Geno revealed he doesn't even know Jones, asking who he was to The Foundation before disappearing.
- In the Collision event, The Imagined and Geno can be seen falling into the Zero Point. Gunnar's model is used as a placeholder.
- During the Collision event, after going off-screen, Geno's walk cycle will not stop after his appearance, resulting in him endlessly walking through the void
- Geno's return during the Shattered event was teased in Summer Games Fest 2026, hours before the official reveal, by voice actor Ben Starr; the voice actor for The Visitor (Reality Unknown), he attended the event using an Oathbound pin.
- According to The Order, he is shorter than The Visitor.
- This Visitor is presented as much more wrathful and seeking revenge, as well as more focused.
- This creates tension between him and The Order, who has become much more reckless like her sister, which Visitor reproached her for, asking if she had learned nothing from her sister's death.
- It was later revealed to be nothing more than a persona, played by Geno to in order to deceive The Seven.
