Bumpy Bay was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 7: Season 1 with the Golden Coast Island. Bumpy Bay was a modest bayside town featuring Victorian-era architecture with an expansive marina.

- The trams located on the hilly road are based on the Cable Cars on Powell Street.
- The wide pier stretching into the bay is inspired by Pier 39 in Fisherman's Wharf.
- The houses that populate Bumpy Bay are based on the homes in the city built during the Victorian era, such as the Painted Ladies.
- The Chow-DURRR restaurant pays homage to the historical and cultural significance of clam chowder and sourdough bowls in San Francisco, specifically those made by Boudin.
- Bumpy Bay's discovery stinger is based on psychedelic rock music from the 1960s, when San Francisco was at the center of hippie counterculture.
