Base Rio is a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale that can be found at the east of Pleasant Park. It was added in Chapter 2: Season 8 and is one of the 5 new IO outposts on the Apollo Island.

- Update v18.00: Base Rio replaced the Teddy Bear's meeting place.
- Content Update v18.40 - 1
- November 27th 2021: The Cube Queen's corruption of the island has surrounded the landmark.
Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- Update v19.00: Base Rio was removed after being flipped and submerged.
Chapter 3: Season 4[]
- In the Fracture Live Event,Base Rio was destroyed by The Herald offscreen.
