Guardian of the Mountains was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale, added in Chapter 2: Season 6, on the Apollo island. It was located North of Retail Row and West of Brutus' Basin. A Spire Guardian could have been found here.

- Update v16.00: Added Guardian of the Mountains.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
- Update v17.00: The Primal biome has disappeared and The Spire Guardian has been removed.
Chapter 2: Season 8[]
- The End (Chapter 2): Guardian of the Mountains, along with the rest of the Apollo Island, is flipped.
Chapter 3: Season 4[]
- Fracture event: Guardian of the Mountains is destroyed by The Herald offscreen.
