Reality Roots were Landmarks added in Chapter 3: Season 3 to the island Artemis. They are roots of the Reality Tree that break out of the ground at various points on the map, making them scattered locations. It appears that more erupt from the ground over time, marking the growth of the tree.

Chapter 3: Season 3[]
- Update v21.00: Roots to the Reality Tree have appeared around the map in a few notable locations, such as at or around Behemoth Bridge, Rave Cave, Reality Falls, Shroom Station, and Rocky Reels.
- June 11th 2022: Roots unearth themselves at Logjam Lumberyard
- Content Update v21.00: Another root springs up at Logjam Lumberyard with the Lush Logs sapling springing from it.
- June 18th 2022: A series of roots emerge south west of Tilted Towers.
- Update v21.10: Lush Logs bloomed and replaced Logjam Lumberyard with Logjam Lotus. Another root springs up at Butter Barn with the reality sapling springing from it.
- June 22nd, 2022: A series of roots emerge south of Tilted Towers.
- June 25th 2022: A series of roots emerge south east of Tilted Towers.
- Content Update v21.10: Butter Barn replaced with Butter Bloom. A reality bloom sapling grows in Temple Bloom.
- July 3rd 2022: A series of roots emerge west of Shifty Shafts.
- Update v21.20: Tumbledown Temple was replaced by Shuffled Shrines
- July 9th 2022: A series of roots emerge south west of Sleepy Sound.
- Content Update v21.20: The Sleepy Shrubs grows in Sleepy Sound.
- July 16th 2022: More roots emerge in Rocky Reels.
- Update v21.30: The Sleepy Shrubs bloomed.
- July 22nd, 2022: A series of roots emerge west of Condo Canyon.
- July 26th 2022: The Bungalow Blooms grows in Condo Canyon. Series of roots emerge north west of Tilted Towers.
- August 2nd, 2022: The Bungalow Blooms bloomed.
- August 3rd 2022: A series of roots emerge south of Coney Crossroads.
- August 9th 2022: The Daily Bloomgle grows in The Daily Bugle.
- Update v21.40: The Daily Bloomgle replaced with Lazy Lagoon. Series of roots emerge on Spawn Island.
- Update v21.50: Spawn Island fully bloomed. All reality roots and tree branches has reached hyperbloom state and became habitats for Rift Butteerflies. The Reality Tree no longer powers reality bloom locations and is now sucking all the roots energy back to the main tree.
Chapter 3: Season 4[]
- Update v22.00: With the arrival of The Herald, and the introduction of Chrome to the island, the Reality Tree is now a Named Location, and has begun to rapidly decay. Despite the entire Reality Bloom Biome beginning to die, five roots have sprung up around the map. Approaching them initiate both a visual and auditory hallucinations, with the audio being messages from that of The Paradigm. The five roots are as follows:
- In the Fracture Live Event,The Reality Roots were destroyed by The Herald.

- The map icons for their Reality Blooms were called "Reality Clouds".[1] Whether these were an early idea for them or just their codename is unknown.
