The Monolith was an Unnamed Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 6: Season 4 to the island Oninoshima. It was a mysterious prism adorned with silver and gold patterns, functioning as a portal to "another time and place".
Interacting with the Monolith gave players the option to remove themselves from the Battle Royale match and travel to the Daft Punk Experience.

- The Monolith now emits strange sound effects once approached.

- The Monolith has rotated counter-clockwise, facing Hive Hideaway.

September 19th 2025
- A countdown has appeared above The Monolith. It also now resonates with a melody, has been lined with silver and gold patterns and emits a strange aura.
September 21st 2025
- Visualiser for Daft Punk's song ON/OFF on Spotify now shows The Monolith.
September 22nd 2025
- Daft Punk Experience logo appeared above The Monolith.
- The Monolith now plays instrumentals of various songs featuring Daft Punk:
- I Feel It Coming - The Weeknd, Daft Punk
- Starboy - The Weeknd, Daft Punk
September 27th 2025
- Interacting with the Monolith will now give players the option to leave the match and travel to the Daft Punk Experience.
- Music no longer plays at the Monolith.
- All visual effects were removed.
