Steel Farm was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale, located on the small island formerly covered by Upstate New York. It is a farm with Corn fields, and is reminiscent of Frenzy Farm.

Farmer Steel used to be found as a character at this location during Chapter 2: Season 5 and Chapter 2: Season 6, and the name confirms that this is his farm. Now, Hayseed spawns here during Chapter 2: Season 7, and is paranoid about the aliens. He later erected defenses around the house as preparations.

Update v13.00: Steel Farm was flooded temporarily.
- By July 24th (Stage 5) of the water level lowering, the landmark is now completely unflooded.

Update v15.00: Steel Farm returned and is now a landmark and Farmer Steel can be found here as a character. He remains here as of Chapter 2: Season 6.

Update v17.00: Hayseed has replaced Farmer Steel as the resident of Steel Farm.
Update v17.10: Hayseed has erected defenses as preparations for invasions outside the house.

- December 2nd, 2021: The Cube Queen's corruption has fully surrounded the location.

- Steel Farm was flipped along with the rest of Apollo in the climactic ending of the event.

Update v32.00: Steel Farm has returned alongside the Apollo island and is no longer a Named Landmark.

Steel Farm being a location but not a landmark for 4 seasons was likely a mistake, or just Epic Games not wanting to name the landmark.
Although it is not named, Steel Farm is the smallest farm on the map. The 2nd being The Orchard.
The name Steel Farm is based on the name of the character who can spawn here, Farmer Steel.
- This is likely why Epic just now named it the way it is.
