Guardian of the Lake was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale, added in Chapter 2: Season 6. It is located Northwest of Misty Meadows and East of Hydro 16. A Spire Guardian could have been found here.

Chapter 2: Season 6[]
- Update v16.00: Added Guardian of the Lake.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
- Update v17.00: The Primal biome has disappeared and The Spire Guardian has been removed. for a short period of time the Spire Guardian Was able to be found patrolling and, even team up with Doctor Slone This was later fixed.
Chapter 2: Season 8[]
- The End (Chapter 2): The Guardian of the Lake, along with the rest of the Apollo Island, is flipped.
Chapter 3: Season 4[]
- Fracture event: The Guardian of the Lake is destroyed by The Herald offscreen.

- This is the second time the other Lazy Lake Island has became a landmark. The first being Chapter 2 Season 3, when it was called Motorboat Mayhem.
