Shogun's Arena is an Unnamed Location and a Mid-Match Objective in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was added in Chapter 6: Season 1 to the island Oninoshima.

Overview

Overview[]

When the fourth Storm circle closes in, Shogun's Arena would appear at a random preset location through a Rift.

Unlike the Loot Islands from previous Seasons that featured a Capture Point in the middle, Shogun X would spawn as a Boss instead. Shogun's Arena also lacked a vortex or Ascenders for reaching it, instead spawning Air Sprites nearby that could not be picked up and would remain permanently in place, forming a wind current. Jumping off the islands would cause players to be caught in a wind vortex, preventing fall damage.

Defeating Shogun X would drop unique items that otherwise couldn't be obtained by defeating the wandering version of him.

Trivia

Trivia[]

  • Players will not take fall damage by falling from Shogun's Arena as the location itself is surrounded by a wind volume, similar to the Floating Island.
  • This is the second mid-game island to feature a cluster of islands rather than a single one.
    • The first is the Winterfest 2023 version of Loot Island.
