Crash Site was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that came back in Chapter 2 Remix with the island Apollo. Crash Site was a small island with a crashed GHOST plane on it.

Crash Site was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was added in Chapter 2: Season 1 to the island Apollo. Crash Site was a small island with a crashed GHOST plane on it. The back of the plane dropped into Coral Castle after the location was unflooded.

  • Crash Site was added, following the formation of Apollo.

Update v11.10[]

  • Monitor screens at the Crash Site began to flicker every so often.

Update v11.31[]

  • December 25th 2019: Crash Site was covered in snow.
  • January 8th 2020: The snow melted.

Update v12.00[]

  • Crash Site has been grown over by the plants. Coral have also began to appear around the island. Interestingly, some of the parts of the plane have been stripped off and taken away, most likely to SHADOW Safe House - Alpha where similar parts of the plane are.

Update v13.00[]

  • Crash Site was completely flooded.

Update v13.20[]

  • July 11th 2020: The water level decreased and some rubble had been cleaned up, allowing for Crash Site to now be seen clearly underwater. The site has also became a landmark again.

Update v13.30[]

  • July 24th 2020: The water level decreased even more, the last piece of rubble has been cleaned up over the landmark; more of Crash Site has been uncovered.
  • July 27th 2020: The water level has lowered again, allowing access the more of the landmark. However, one half of the island has been revealed to now be destroyed and remains underwater.
  • August 1st 2020: The water level lowered for the last time, and a sinkhole has been created connecting Crash Site to Coral Castle. The plane parts that were on the western half of the island that had previously remained underwater are now scattered across the lower eastern side of Coral Castle.

  • All IO Guards and the Camp on the premises have disappeared. However, as a result of The Mothership being blown up during Operation: Sky Fire, a Cube landed nearby, and its energy - along with the crashed remains of an Abductor - caused the area around Crash Site to become corrupted.

The End[]

  • Crash Site turned upside down during the flipping of the island.

Fracture[]

  • Crash Site was destroyed following the explosion of Reality Zero.
