The Morphite Submachine Gun is a fast firing, short range, high hip-fire accuracy weapon, in line with most SMGs in the game. The weapon can function at longer ranges, but it suffers from high damage falloff and low accuracy.

The Morphite Submachine Gun can evolve when the player reaches the damage threshold. Pressing reload will reload the weapon and evolve it to the next rarity.

The Morphite Submachine Gun is a Hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy disabled.

The Morphite Submachine Gun can be reloaded whilst aiming.

The Morphite Submachine Gun is one of the highest DPS SMGs in the game, sharing a DPS with the Combat SMG. This, combined with the easy recoil and very nice hipfire spread, make the Morphite Submachine Gun very good for close range pressure, especially combined with a high power Shotgun such as the Morphite Pump Shotgun.
Much like the rest of the Morphite weapons, the Morphite Submachine Gun heavily rewards aggression due to the evolving mechanic. With the close-range oriented playstyle that the Morphite Submachine Gun already leans towards, this makes it very rewarding and effective in close range fights.
The Morphite Submachine Gun comes with a larger than average magazine size for an SMG, 36 rounds, meaning you can effectively pressure enemies and structures for longer than average for an SMG.

Counters[]

The Morphite Submachine Gun has a pretty bad mid-range spread. Using a weapon at these ranges with better accuracy such as the Twin Mag SMG or Morphite Assault Rifle can be beneficial against enemies wielding the Morphite Submachine Gun.
