The Morphite Assault Rifle is a fully automatic, medium to long ranged assault rifle that deals moderate damage and has a fast rate of fire.

The Morphite Assault Rifle can evolve when the player reaches the damage threshold. Pressing reload will reload the weapon and evolve it to the next rarity.

The Morphite Assault Rifle is a Hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

The Morphite Assault Rifle can be reloaded whilst aiming.

The Morphite Assault Rifle is best treated as a sort of SMG/AR hybrid, due to it's higher than average fire rate and better close-mid range performance.
The Morphite Assault Rifle (like all the other Morphite weapon) highly rewards aggressive play due to the evolving mechanic.
The Morphite Assault Rifle is very similar in playstyle to the Hammer Assault Rifle, as they both are more close-mid range oriented rifles, with slightly higher than average fire rates, somewhat unruly recoil, and a very similar DPS. This means the Morphite Assault Rifle is also very solid in a 2 weapon loadout, when paired with a high-damage Shotgun.
One of the nice things about the Morphite Assault Rifle is that it highly rewards headshots, as it's headshot multiplier increases over each rarity, so by the time you've reach Legendary rarity, you have a 1.75x headshot multiplier.

Counters[]

More accurate weapons such as the Veiled Precision SMG and Infantry Rifle can be a good counter to an opponent using a Morphite Assault Rifle, as much like the normal Assault Rifle, the Morphite Assault Rifle is quite prone to needing to be tapfired at range.
