Propane Tanks are Miscellaneous Items that were introduced in Chapter 2: Season 2.

Functionality

Functionality[]

The Propane Tank is not an item that is put in your inventory, rather it is an item that must be carried over the players head, stopping them from using other items or building. The Propane Tank can be thrown, and its use is to shoot it, to detonate an explosion. Propane Tanks will set structures alight.

Obtained

Obtained[]

The Propane Tank is found at Weeping Woods, in a small wooden cart. They are also found at the The Unremarkable Shack.

Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.
  • The Propane Tank is risky to carry around, as opponents can shoot it out of your hands, and detonate it early.
  • The Player should carry as Gas Can instead of a Propane Tank, as the latter has the same function, and does not require the player to carry it over their head.

Trivia

Trivia[]

  • Propane Tanks were likely introduced to the island by TNTina, as she uses one in her lobby pose, and they are branded in a similar way to her aesthetic.
  • An early iteration of the Propane Tanks were present during Chapter 2: Season 1. Its appearance was recycled from the Propane Tanks found in Save the World, and worked similarly to its final counterpart. However, it could not be held or thrown by players.
  • When Propane Tanks were found at the Rig / Rickety Rig, they would glitch out after being removed from the location, and could not be thrown. They could still be shot at however, allowing them to detonate, but harming the carrier in the process.
