The Combat Assault Rifle is an Assault Weapon in Fortnite that was added in Chapter 7: Season 1.
The Combat Assault Rifle has a Mythic variant called Squibbly's Combat Assault Rifle.
The Combat Assault Rifle is the Hitscan, unmoddable version of the Modular Combat Assault Rifle.

The Combat Assault Rifle is a fast-firing assault rifle with stellar accuracy and significantly high recoil. It is equipped with a
Muzzle Brake to try to reduce some of that recoil.
The Combat Assault Rifle is a Hitscan weapon, with First Shot Accuracy enabled.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 50 meters (10 tiles).
- Damage decreases down to 92% of its maximum at 85 meters (17 tiles).
- Damage reaches its minimum value of 90% of its maximum at 100 meters (20 tiles).
The Combat Assault Rifle can be aimed down sights while reloading, aimed down sights while in midair within modes that have these mechanics enabled. It also has the Checkpoint Reload mechanic.

Muzzle Brake that comes prefixed on the Combat Assault Rifle helps the weapon stay a bit more controllable than its original Chapter 2 counterpart. - The Combat Assault Rifle, due to its AR-SMG hybrid attributes, can be viable in a 2-weapon loadout, paired with a high-damage Shotgun such as the Chaos Reloader Shotgun.
