Personality[]

Skye is a cheerful, lighthearted, carefree, and creative^[4][5] young girl, who is an adventurer at heart. She loves travelling around in nature with her shapeshifting buddy Ollie, and taking photos along their journeys. She seems to be fascinated with the stars, as evident by the space telescopes at her campsites and The Shark, and she likes the sea as well, considering her campsites were all coastal.

By looking at her room & campsites, we can see that she enjoys things such as plushies, board games, colorful toys, video games, and reading. As seen on her photo board and cosmetics^[4], she also enjoys various Arts & Crafts, such as doodling and origami, along with other creative activities such as scrapbooking and sewing. It is shown via the emotes she used as a Character that she also enjoys various outdoor toys & games, along with tea and/or tea parties.

Appearance[]

Skye is a small, young girl with blue eyes & brown hair who wears a shapeshifting creature named Ollie as her hat. Despite being a part of Midas' Crew, she dresses in such a way that express her adventurous, carefree, and lighthearted personality^[5] - as she wears a cool-weather camping outfit reminiscent of a world akin to ours, and her customized backpack holds seemingly hand-made^[4] fantasy references. She also wears pins that resemble a stylized version of Scout^[2] pins, one of them that she likely gave to Guff stating so, and has a white & red kids' polaroid camera hanging from her neck.

Skills[]

Skye and Ollie
	Camping Due to being a Scout[2] & Adventurer, along with Skye's Campsites, we know that she has various skills relating to camping & exploration, and continually practices them. This includes celestial navigation, as seen by the "Comet Scout" badge she presumably gave to Guff, and by her space telescope seen both in her room and at her campsites.
	Cooking Skye has an "Early riser / Breakfast" badge (which resembles a sunny-side-up egg and the rising sun), along with another badge in the shape of seemingly a hotdog, showing that she has some proficiency in cooking & meal preparation. However, this secondary badge may also be a participation award for the food drives that the Scouts[2] frequently hold.
	Art / Cartography / Drafting Skye has a badge that looks like a pencil, showing that she practices skills in either drawing, cartography, or drafting. All of these are skills learned in youth outdoor programs[2], and based on her character, the most likely of them are drawing and cartography.
	Craftmanship / Woodworking Skye has a badge based on various tools, indicating that she is proficient in working with them. Common skills in youth outdoor programs[2] include woodworking and craftsmanship, so those are most likely some of her skills.
	Telepathy(?) Skye is seen communicating with Ollie in her Hideout cutscene, despite not being visible to Meowscles. However, this can also be better interpreted as Ollie quickly transforming back into Skye's hat before Meowscles could see, as seen while completing the quest to choose between Ghost & Shadow Skye.

History[]

Chapter 2: Season 2[]

Skye was stationed at The Shark during the war between GHOST and SHADOW, but was often out camping and exploring the island instead.

As the faction war progressed, she was forced to choose sides, and became the only member of Midas' Crew to stay with Ghost before The Flood, damaging her bonds with the Crew. The Shark was then ordered to be renovated into a high-security prison by Midas.

Chapter 2: Season 3[]

The Shark was destroyed by The Flood, and Skye went AWOL for a long time. It is unknown whether she went to the Fortilla with the rest of GHOST, or if she went her own way.

Chapter 2: Season 4[]

Shortly before the arrival of Thor and the Marvel heroes and villains, Midas shut down the operations of The Crew on the island and made them abandon their respective posts, putting every agent offline for an unknown reason.

Due to Skye technically still being a part of Ghost, and having cut ties / lost communication with the Crew, it is unknown if she was aware of this or not.

Chapter 2: Season 5[]

The war between GHOST and SHADOW seemingly ended, and Sleuth had started attempting to unravel their web and track down all the Agents, though was unsuccessful.

Chapter 2: Season 7[]

Skye and Ollie appeared on a computer screen in The Bridge. They were being monitored by the Imagined Order.

She was later seen with another version of herself.

Chapter 3: Season 2[]

It was hinted that Skye and Meowscles were hiding inside Command Cavern's vents, potentially spying for a way to get Skye off the Island and home to her family.

In Chapter 3: Season 3, only Meowscles emerged from Command Cavern, and it is unclear whether whatever their mission was ended in success.

Chapter 4: Season 1[]

A version of Skye showed up to celebrate the Winter festivities, though it is unknown whether it was really her or a snapshot of herself.

LEGO Fortnite[]

Skye can be found as a villager in LEGO Fortnite. She'll let you know that she loves adventure, and her friends Ollie and Guff.

Chapter 5: Season 1[]

Skye's photo board washed ashore on a small, unnamed island on the northeastern shore of Helios. There were also a few snowman Ollies in the snow biome that the player could build during Winterfest 2023.

Chapter 5: Season 2[]

Skye appeared at Catcher's Cove on the island Helios, returning at the call of Marigold to help her old friends out and investigate a lead on Midas.

Due to her bonds with the Crew being prior damaged by the Faction War, she was nervous to see them all again - and was particularly reluctant to see Midas, who she'd especially not thought about in a long time. However, she was still worried due to what Marigold told her, and wanted to help out, so she set up a campsite in the northeast of The Underworld in order to create a base of operations for The Crew whilst searching for Midas.

She was ultimately able to move on from the past hurt with her old friends, and their bonds were slightly repaired - stating that while it feels different now, it's still nice to have everyone back together again, and that even though she was reluctant to see Midas, she was glad he was okay. Afterwards, Skye left the island aboard The Marigold, along with the Crew.

Chapter 2 Remix[]

Skye, now wearing an "undercover" outfit, arrived on the remixed Apollo island, adventuring around and sightseeing. She was contracted by Snoop's Enterprise along with other Midas' Crew agents, and used the safety granted by this to explore the island and relive good memories, checking off a bucket list along the way.

Chapter 7: Season 1[]

Skye, in her "Undercover" attire, was seen on the Golden Coast acting as a background character in Yuki's Revenge. In the movie, she was trying to purchase ice cream from Yuki Yubari at an ice cream truck. We can see her height and age here, being quite short and young. Trying to get Yuki's attention, who was eating her ice cream, she said:

Trivia[]

• According to Skye's voice actress^[3], her codename was "Adventure Girl" during recording / development.
• During Chapter 2: Season 2, Skye's Campsites could be found all around the Island.
• The descriptions of every version of Skye's Back Blings (minus Summer Skye's) are references to old kid's toy commercials.
• Based on her badges, Skye was likely a Girl Scout before coming to the Island.^[2]
• On her photo board, there is a letter from her Mom & Dad, indicating that she seems to have a good relationship with her parents. This also makes her one of the few people on the Island to have information from outside of it. She likely had this in her possession when being brought to the Island.
• Based on much of what we know of Skye, her two main design & character inspirations are the Scouts of America and the Legend of Zelda - the latter being to the point that all her fantasy gear is based on it, such as her swords being inspired by the True Master Sword, the Nintendo Switch-esque console in her backpack looking like one of the games, the emblem on said backpack being akin to the Great Deku Tree, and even a board game in her room that's inspired by a place in Breath of the Wild.
• There are many hints indicating that Skye may have created Ollie, Guff, and her fantasy-inspired gear herself.^[4]
• Skye's "undercover" outfit is a mix of various characters, including Guff, Lynx, and potentially Maya, with her own personal creative flare on them. This further alludes to her trying to blend in on the REMIX'd version of Apollo so that, as her loading screen states, she can safely explore the Island to re-live good memories - thus, "Undercover".
  • This is further implied due to her being glitched over Lynx in the teasers for the season.
