- Megalo Don is the first Final Level Outfit since Chapter 3: Season 4 to not be of Legendary rarity.
- This is due to the decision by Epic Games to hide rarities in order to "simplify the appearance of Fortnite and remove outdated Battle Royale-inspired systems", making Epic the new default rarity.
- Megalo Don's left shoulder pad has an insignia that greatly resembles those used in the military, indicating a possible military background.
- A similar insignia can also be seen in The Leviathan.

Megalo Don will not attack the player on sight unless he or a Wasteland Guard are attacked, they block his path for too long, or they aim their weapon at him for too long.
Megalo Don patrols the roads of the island inside his personal Behemoth with a Wasteland Grunt in the second seat while leading a War Bus driven by a Wasteland Elite and Grunts. His Shields are bolstered while he sits inside his Behemoth and will not re-enter if he exits the vehicle.
He will not attack the player on sight unless he, a Wasteland Guard, or their vehicles are attacked, they get on the War Bus seats, they block his path for too long, or they aim their weapon at him for too long.
While he drives his Behemoth all oncoming damage to the vehicle will instead be dealt to his Shields.
Megalo Don will alternate between his Modular Combat Shotgun and Nitro Fists. Going in for a full punch combo when his target is close enough.

- Nitro Sprint Tackle
- Megalo Don charges up his suit and sprints towards his target, transferring all his built up energy into a shoulder bash, dealing 36 damage and light knockback in the process. He will only use this ability when affected with Nitro.

- Nitro Fuel Overclock
- When Megalo Don's Shield is depleted for the first time he will charge up Nitro flowing in his body. Increasing his movement speed and infusing himself. The Nitro effect is permanently active until he is defeated.
- While in this state, Megalo Don will begin to utilize an uppercut and air dash combo with his Nitro Fists when brandished. This does not override his full punch combo.
- During the transformation time, Megalo Don will be immune to all damage.
- When Megalo Don's Shield is depleted for the first time he will charge up Nitro flowing in his body. Increasing his movement speed and infusing himself. The Nitro effect is permanently active until he is defeated.

- Megalo Don has a unique foot step sound that is absent from the Outfit itself.
- Megalo Don is the first Boss with a Melee Weapon to use all of its abilities in combat. Dishing out all the possible attacks of his Nitro Fists.
- When breaking obstacles, Megalo Don wields Don's Dominator as his Pickaxe.
- Megalo Don may also perform a full punch combo with his Nitro Fists when breaking obstacles, even while affected with Nitro.
- Megalo Don, along with the rest of the Wasteland Warriors are the first Bosses since The Foundation that can be aggro'd by simply blocking their patrol path.
- They are also the first Bosses that can be aggro'd by aiming a weapon at them.
- Like with all the other Wasteland Warrior Bosses, Megalo Don can be Nitro Energized early without depleting his Shield.
- Megalo Don's Nitro Sprint Tackle ability is similar to Gunnar's Jetpack Charge and even uses the same sound effects. The differences being the windup time, and the speed and range Megalo Don travels.
- Unlike the other Wasteland Warrior Bosses, Megalo Don's voice is not filtered through a loudspeaker when in his vehicle.

Megalo Don was the ruthless leader of the Wasteland Warriors, the current owner of the "Leviathan" ship, the self-proclaimed "God" and self-proclaimed owner of the Nitro Wasteland. Megalo Don was seeking Pandora's Box power and planned to ravage the Island using the Nitro fueled Leviathan Ship. His plans were foiled by The Wanderer.
He is a major antagonist of Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the main antagonist in Chapter 5: Season 3.

Megalo Don is the typical big bad, megalomaniac, evil brute with huge ego. His hunger for powers, destruction, sharks and Nitro seems to be endless, claiming the screams of his enemies will taste sweet and that he will enjoy every bite. Despite his quest for power, he is not interested in gaining new territories, he prefers to plunder, ravage, destroy, then return to sea to find new lands and do the same. However, he will not hesitate to do anything to make himself and his army more powerful, using technology and Nitro to empower themselves.
Despite his behavior, he isn't entirely merciless and does not harbor ill will towards those who fear him or bow to him, wanting to be praised as the ruler of the wasteland. Moreover, as long as people don't try to attack him, steal "his" nitro or get in his way, he won't go after them. When provoked, he warns people to "just walk away" showing that he knows how to exercise self-control despite his explosive temperament.
Despite some minor elements of mercy, his ultimate goal is the takeover and subsequent destruction of the island and there seem to be no lines he won't cross to accomplish it.

Chapter 5: Season 2[]

As Zeus wanted to get revenge after he was defeated and dethroned by The Looper, he used the remainder of his power to overload Pandora's Box and released an immense source of energy. This source of energy alerted Megalo Don, who therefore decided to go to the Island, having been mysteriously attracted by the power of the box. Crossing along The Sandstorm created by the energy of Pandora's Box to reach the Island. He used his ship's lights to send messages to everyone on the island: "NO HOPE", "GET REKT", "OUT OF CONTROL", "NO BRAKES", "WILDNESS" and "CASSATION", all in morse code.
Chapter 5: Season 3[]
The Wasteland Warriors arrived on the Island along with the sandstorm and claimed ownership of the Wasteland Biome and all the Nitro.[11] Hope discovered that Megalo Don plans to destroy the Island, but won't be able to launch his raid until his Leviathan ship is refueled with enough Nitro.[12] He therefore asks The Machinist, the Wasteland Warriors' engineer to extract Nitro to be able to power the Leviathan. In the meantime, Megalo Don and his crew cause chaos and destruction over the Island, leaving Hope, Jones and their allies to try and stop him before it's too late.
During the Refinery Event, The event started with an opening speech by Megalo Don giving an unhappy ending to everyone. Nitro begins fueling his Leviathan until the pipeline gets disrupted by The Wanderer and explodes. Megalo Don sad and enraged, immediately calls for The Machinist demanding an explanation while the Wanderer is out there getting everything in Pandora's Box all for himself.
Chapter 5: Season 4[]
After his plan failed because Doom's betrayal and that the later took over Pandora's Box powers, Megalo Don was confronted by his former ally, who no longer needed him. When discussing the matter of Doom and Megalo Don with Rust, The Looper learned that Doom "Got Rid" of Megalo Don, implying he was killed much like a lot of Marvel Heroes and villains.
