Storm Beast's Pom Poms is a Utility Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 6: Season 3.
Functionality
Functionality[]
The major part of using this weapon is allowing the user to turn into a Storm Beast:
- Melee Attack: The player can slash in front of them with each consecutive hit dealing more damage. The player can hit a combo of up to 100 damage at once to a single player.
- Storm Slam: Allows the player to leap up into the air destroying any breakable structures in the way and slam onto the ground after a brief delay.
Additionally, the Storm Beast has some passives mainly for movement:
- Passive: The player is given infinite sprint with no jump fatigue at all, while being able to run and jump faster at the same time.
The Storm Beast's Pom Poms decrease their durability by 25% when transforming back to normal. This allows the player to transform to and from the Storm Beast a maximum of 4 times.

- A clip of Make the Crowd Roar plays as the player transforms into the Storm Beast.
- Players can’t pick up items or drop anything from their inventory while transformed.
- Transforming into the Storm Beast makes the player much larger, matching the height of other similarly sized Bosses, such as The Night Rose and Hades.
- Though unlike the Bosses mentioned, the Storm Beast associated with this item utilizes a unique model instead of the Outfit model.
- The Storm Beast that the player transforms into is also colored differently from Haylee Skye's. Being black and red rather than white and purple, likely done to distinguish a player wearing the Outfit from a player wielding the Pom Poms.
- When Storm Beast's Pom Poms were disabled, they could still be found within Supply Drops in Respawn Rumble.
