Double Barrel Shotgun/OG

Functionality[]

The Double Barrel Shotgun is a weapon with very low range and a very small magazine. The purpose of the Double Barrel Shotgun is to deal high amounts of damage in very close situations, even closer than that of the Pump Shotgun. Landing all pellets from both its shots can knock a player from full health and shields with both of the gun's rarities.

The Double Barrel reloads both shells at once.

The Double Barrel Shotgun is a hitscan weapon, but fires a spread of 10 pellets when both aiming down sights and hipfiring. Aiming down sights tightens the spread of pellets.

• The Double Barrel Shotgun excels at extremely close ranges, so get as close to your opponent as possible before using the Double Barrel Shotgun.
• The Double Barrel Shotgun benefits from landing as many pellets as possible rather than landing headshots. Aim for the upper chest to land as many pellets as possible while still getting in some headshot damage.
• It's best to pair the Double Barrel Shotgun with an SMG, preferably one with a high capacity. After expending the Double Barrel Shotgun's capacity, switch to your SMG to finish off your opponent.
• Unlike most other shotguns, it's best not to deal chip damage at longer ranges due to the Double Barrel Shotgun's long reload time.
