OG Chapter 1: Season 5 is the fifth season of Fortnite OG that started on August 7th 2025 and ended on October 2nd 2025[1] (formerly October 3rd 2025).
The season has the slogan Worlds Collide.
The Storyline of OG
The Storyline of OG[]
Season 4[]
In Season 4, The Crack in the Sky created by the Blast Off event connected Reality: Unknown directly to other realities, and within days before Season 5 began, rifts began forming around the island, rifting away objects from the island and bringing in new ones from other realities.
The Season Begins[]
At the beginning of the season, entire locations from different realities were brought to the island through the Crack in the Sky. Moisty Mire was replaced with a giant desert, along with a large resort town, a mexican-like town, scrapyard, and a cafe. The dirt racetrack to the east of Retail Row was revamped and upgraded to a full-scale concrete motorcourse track. Two more major changes occurred to the island. The farm Anarchy Acres was replaced with a luxury golf club called Lazy Links, and a large Viking Village was dropped on top of a mountain near Snobby Shores, complete with a large viking ship. Dusty Divot became overgrown with vegetation, and the research facility there started to fall apart and decay, same with the Hero Mansion and Villain Lair. The Durr Burger head that was transported into the real world was, again, sucked through a rift and transported back to the island, and could have been found on top of a hill near Pleasant Park. Around each of the affected areas, rifts could have been found, which transported loopers high up into the sky when entered.
This Season[]
After the Crack in the Sky brought the locations from different realities into the Island, it started shrinking and closing, and in the process, becoming deep red and sending lightning strikes in a mountain east of Fatal Fields in the Desert. When the Crack in the Sky was nearly done closing it sent it's last lightning strike, which was the longest, bringing in Revin the Cube, then finally closing.
Revin the Cube started rolling around the Island, burning runes into the soil of the Island with the purpose of gathering power, then sinking into the Loot Lake, where the Zero Point was, so it could start the next phase of it's plan in Season 6.
OG Pass

OG Pass items are not exclusive to the season in which they are offered and are likely going to be added to the Item Shop sometime after the season ends. However, players are unable to access OG Pass from past seasons.

Update v37.00
August 7th 2025
- Moisty Mire was replaced by the Desert, bringing in a new city with it, Paradise Palms, located at the place of the Stagecoach originally rifted into Moisty Mire.
- For an unknown reason, Paradise Palms uses the Season X sign instead of the Season 5 sign.
- Slurp Cacti can be found in the desert biome.
- Added new Unnamed Locations:
- Prison, Convenience Store, Circle of Hedges, Wooden Crab, and Truck Coast were removed along with Moisty Mire.
- The Race Track southeast of Retail Row was revamped with a proper concrete race track.
- A fancy golf club named Lazy Links was rifted onto the Island, replacing Anarchy Acres.
- The abandoned Dusty Divot was overgrown with grass, trees and small ponds.
- Viking Village was rifted to the summit of a mountain near Greasy Grove.
- Brick Fox was removed.
- Missing NOMS sign appeared north east of Risky Reels.
- The missing Durrr Burger head from Greasy Grove's Durrr Burger Restaurant got rifted back in. It can be found on a hill east of Pleasant Park.
- The Crack in the Sky is starting to fade away.
- Goodbye signs were put out on the roof and the parking lot of the Pizza Pit in Tomato Town.
- Similar signs can be found on the roof and sidewalk of the Durrr Burger in Greasy Grove.
- 7 Moai Heads were added around the Island.
- Most of the movie sets were removed.
- The drive-in section has been lined up with cars. Flipped cars and destroyed houses' roofs were fixed.
- A tombstone was added east of Paradise Palms to pay homage to the "greatest rescue mission in Fortnite[2]".
- This time an erratic array of wooden and brick stairs can be found above it, referencing the failed rescue attempt.
- Ramps were added in many places around the Island.
- The rest of the Meteor Craters have been patched up.
- The rest of the Hop Rock Convoys have disappeared.
- A Wooden Wolf can be found on a hill by Greasy Grove.
- A "MOON" sign appeared in Retail Row, replacing the missing NOMS sign.
- Some stage lights and a speaker were added inside of the Northern Factory in Loot Lake.
- Wooden and brick stairway behind Hero Mansion was removed.
- Speakers inside of the Club in Yonder Yard are now different colors.
- The Crashed Battle Bus has changed design and now has a proper deflated balloon prop.
- The truck by the new building in Tilted Towers changed its position.
- The Fork Knife Food Truck can now be found in Paradise Palms.
- Lucky Temple was accidentally rotated.
August 15th 2025
- Trucks have appeared between Salty Springs and Dusty Divot.
- The Crack in the Sky has faded away even more.

- The Crack in the Sky started sending lightning strikes to a mountain east of Fatal Fields, destroying each cacti in a formation. Strikes got stronger and lasted longer with time.
- The Crack in the Sky became smaller with each strike.
Crack Closure
- After the last cacti was destroyed, the crack closed and a mysterious red cube appeared.

September 1st 2025
- Revin the Cube started rolling, starting a 27 day-long journey.
- It rolls roughly every 1 hour and 43 minutes.
September 3rd 2025
- A small stone tomato head statue appeared on top of Uncle Pete's Pizza Pit in Tomato Town.
- An old pickup truck appeared in Paradise Palms.
- The construction of the new building in Tilted Towers resumes.

- Gas Station in Paradise Palms was replaced by the one seen in the lobby background for original Season 5.

The Cube Sinking
- Revin the Cube has reached the waters of Loot Lake and melted in it. Loot Lake turned red and became bouncy similar to the effect and the appearance of The Cube.
- Lights coming out of the Mysterious Hatch are now purple.
- The moon has also turned purple.
