Rift-To-Go/OG

Functionality[]

This item will allow players to carry a portable Rift. The rift that they are carrying will take 0.5 seconds to activate, and when it activated it will teleport players up to the sky, where they have the ability to use Glider Redeploy. If other players are in a nearby radius, it will also teleport them up to the sky. The Rift lasts 10 seconds.

The Rift-To-Go can be thrown by holding the Aim button and using the projectile arc to guide them. Once landed it will ping its location to squad-mates.

There is currently an issue where the Rift size is much smaller than it should be, this can cause players to not be pulled into their own Rift.

• Use this item if you feel you are going to lose a battle against an opponent, as an easy escape route. Note that the opponent can follow you in your rift.
• The Rift-To-Go cannot save you from falling--it takes a bit of time for the rift to activate, and by the time it spawns, you will already have fallen past it.
