The Ranger Pistol is a fully automatic, high damage, accurate pistol, suitable for any range. It is equipped with a Laser and Suppressor.

The Ranger Pistol is a Hitscan weapon without First Shot Accuracy.

Damage falloff:

• Damage falloff begins at 30 meters (6 tiles).
• Damage decreases down to 84% of its maximum at 55 meters (11 tiles).
• Damage reaches its minimum value of 78% of its maximum at 125 meters (25 tiles).

• The Ranger Pistol is an oddity in that it is one of the only Pistols in the game without First Shot Accuracy. However, due to the Laser attachment that comes prefixed, this is essentially not needed, as the weapons spread is so tight it can effectively take fights at long ranges without First Shot Accuracy.
• The Suppressor and Laser that come prefixed on the Ranger Pistol can make it a very stealth optimized Pistol, as you stay off the enemies compass, and have a much tighter hipfire spread, great for sneaking up on an opponent and catching them off guard.
• The Ranger Pistol is best used as either an AR replacement in tandem with a more SMG/AR hybrid weapon such as the Collateral Damage Assault Rifle or the Drum Gun, or as the close-mid range spray weapon as a finisher for a DMR or Sniper, such as the Deadeye DMR or the Vengeful Sniper Rifle.

Counters[]

• Other Pistols, such as the Tactical Pistol, Combat Pistol, or Suppressed Pistol, have higher DPS values, than the Ranger Pistol, as well as having First Shot Accuracy. Any of these Pistols can put up a fight when dealing with an opponent with a Ranger Pistol.
• At close range, the Ranger Pistol, with it's small magazine, can be heavily overwhelmed by traditional SMGs such as the Dual Micro SMGs or the Compact SMG.
