The Pistol is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 7: Season 2.
The Pistol has a Mythic version called the Pinpoint Pistol.
Functionality

The Pistol is a fully automatic, versatile pistol that excels at close to medium range combat. It is remarkably accurate and easy to control, even when fired continously.
The Pistol is a Hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.
The Pistol can be aimed down sights while reloading, aimed down sights while in midair and has the Checkpoint Reload mechanic.

- Landing headshots is very beneficial with the Pistol, due to it's 2x headshot multiplier.
- The Pistol can be used as a rifle-SMG hybrid, as it has excellent accuracy and a higher DPS than the Assault Rifle, it is useful at mid to long range, but also useable in close range scenarios.
- Even though the Pistol has a slightly lower DPS than most of the SMGs, it can still be beneficial due to better range, higher damage, speedier reload times, first shot accuracy, and a higher headshot multiplier.
Counters[]
- The Pistol, due to its small magazine size, can struggle against structures. Taking as much cover as possible can be beneficial when engaging with an opponent wielding a Pistol.

- The Pistol shares its model and icon with the Epic and Legendary Semi-Auto Pistol.
- Due to this, it resembles the Staccatto XL 2011.
- The Pistol reworked for Chapter 7: Season 2 is internally located in the same "WeaponsUpdated" folder as the Red-Eye Submachine Gun, Chapter 6: Season 2's Striker Burst Rifle, and the other modular weapons converted to be hitscan in Chapter 6: Mini Season 2.
- This is odd, as the Pistol is the only weapon in this folder to never have been modular or projectile-based, since the weapon was released in Pre-Season.
