- — In-Game Description
Clinger is an Explosive Weapon in Spy Games that was added in Chapter 2: Season 2.
Functionality
Functionality[]
A Clinger when thrown will stick to any surface it comes in contact with, whether it is a structure, a player or a vehicle. After around three seconds, the clinger will detonate, dealing damage to whatever it has stuck to, unless it was thrown at a friendly player. Doing any Emotes will cause the Clinger to fall off the player it had stuck to.
If the surface a clinger is stuck to is destroyed before it detonates, the clinger will drop to the ground. The timer for detonation only starts upon contact with a surface.
The Clinger slowly recharges its uses over time.

| Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic. |
- Clingers are useful for high action engagements, as knowing you have stuck a player with a clinger allows you to focus on another target.
- You can stick a Clinger to a friendly player and have them run towards an enemy, similar to an EMP Stealth Camo. This is useful as the friendly player receives no damage.
- Clingers are especially useful inside enclosed spaces such as Vaults.
- If you have extra Clingers or do not want to carry them, it may be best to throw them into a building or bush in case anyone is hiding nearby.
- Clingers can be extra useful in Zero Build, since they can force opponents out of bushes and Port-A-Bunkers.
