The Suppressed Submachine Gun is a Submachine Gun in Fortnite that was used by the Shadow and GHOST Henchman during Chapter 2 Remix.

Functionality

The Suppressed Submachine Gun is an automatic, fast-firing, medium to close range weapon. It has good accuracy and DPS at close to medium ranges but becomes very inaccurate during longer periods of fire. Because the Suppressed Submachine Gun is a suppressed weapon, it does not appear on enemy compasses when fired and is not audible at longer ranges.

The Suppressed Submachine Gun is a Hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

Damage falloff

  • Damage falloff begins at 20 meters (4 tiles)
  • Damage reaches its minimum value of 45% of its maximum at 40 meters (8 tiles).
  • Damage falloff does not affect Structure Damage.

  • The Suppressed Submachine Gun is modeled after the German Heckler and Koch MP5SD which is the suppressed model of the MP5.
  • The Suppressed Submachine Gun was referred to as a 'Pistol: Machine Pistol' by the old description of this weapon, despite the fact it is classed as a Submachine Gun, and not a Pistol. This was the same description used for the Machine SMG before Update v23.00, from when it was called the Machine Pistol.
    • The weapon it is based on is not a Machine Pistol, nor does it look like one.
