Functionality[]

When a Boombox is put down, it will deploy and start playing loud bass-boosted music. The music is so loud it will damage any structures nearby. The music will stop and the boombox will disappear after 18 seconds.

It deals 200 structure damage every pulse, with it doing a pulses every 0.697 seconds after a 2 second wind up time. It does not damage players.

• The Boom Box can eliminate a player if it destroys the structure they are standing on and they fall long enough to be knocked or eliminated from fall damage.
• The Boom Box is useful in build fights, as it can be thrown and left to passively deal structure damage over time.
• In a small storm circle, a few Boom Boxes can clear out all cover in the entire safe zone, making it a valuable asset in both building and Zero Build playlists.
• Keep in mind that the Boom Box will clear out structures for both you and your opponent in its area of effect. As such, try to only throw the Boom Box at opponents that are far enough away that it will not affect your cover.
