The Grappler is a Consumable Item in Spy Games that was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 2.
Functionality

The Grappler is a medium ranged utility weapon, which is designed to greatly aid the player's mobility, by pulling them forwards towards a selected location. Firing the Grappler launches out a plunger, and if this plunger connects with a surface, the player will be pulled upwards and towards it. This can be used to gain vertical and horizontal distance very quickly.
Missing a shot with the Grappler will not use any ammo. Missing will result in a short delay before it can be fired again. When all 10 charges have been depleted, the item will disappear from the players inventory.
However, in some cases, a zero charge grappler may remain inside the inventory as a bug after charges have been depleted, so it may manually need to be removed even after depletion.

- The Grappler can be used to counter players who are building high up, as it can be used to quickly pull yourself up to their build.
- The Grappler can be used to negate fall damage, if you are able to connect a shot with a surface, to pull you towards it and land safely.
- Fall damage still applies when using this weapon. If you pull yourself too high up and either fail to use it again, or it is discarded, you will take fall damage.
