The Damage Trap is a Trap in Fortnite OG that was introduced in OG Chapter 1: Season 1.

Functionality

Damage Traps are a trap which can be placed on player owned or neutral structures, in any direction or orientation. When an opponent enters the tile they are placed on, the trap will activate, dealing damage.

The Trap can be 'dodged' by entering the tile and quickly leaving. This sets off the trap but does not deal damage.
