The Frenzy Auto Shotgun is an automatic shotgun with a fast fire rate and a standard magazine, allowing it to reload all shells at once. It is equipped with a
Red Eye Sight.
In Fortnite: Ballistic, the Frenzy Auto Shotgun cost
1,500 Credits.
The Frenzy Auto Shotgun is a Hitscan weapon that fires a spread of 10 pellets when both aiming down sights and firing from the hip. Aiming down sights tightens the spread of pellets.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 6 meters (1.2 tiles).
- Damage steadily decreases down to 27% of its maximum at 25 meters (5 tiles).
- Damage reaches its minimum value of 18% of its maximum at 45 meters (9 tiles).
- It stops dealing damage at 62 meters (12.4 tiles).

- Due to its nature as a Shotgun, it is important to play in close range positions and sporadically jump to avoid enemy fire. This is especially important for the Frenzy Auto Shotgun, as its wide spread makes it difficult to one-shot full health opponents to the head.
- Frenzy Auto Shotgun pairs extremely well with Impulse Grenades and Overdrive, as they help you get closer to your enemies before they react.

- The Frenzy Auto Shotgun shares its model and animations with the Modular Frenzy Auto Shotgun, albeit with a different texture, which lacks The Underground styled paintjob.
- Due to this, it resembles the AA-12 CQB Auto Shotgun.[1]
- The differences between the Frenzy Auto Shotgun and the real-life AA-12 has to do with the charging handle which is now on the right side and acts as both the ejection port and charging bolt. While the charging handle on the real-life AA-12 is on the top and is separate from the bolt.
- The AA-12's original iron sights were also replaced by rails to allow optics to be attached.
- Despite not being a Modular weapon, the Frenzy Auto Shotgun and other weapons featured in Fortnite: Ballistic still show what Weapon Mods they have when inspected.
