Functionality

Instant Shield can be purchased during the Buy Phase of Fortnite: Ballistic and instantly applies Shield - Icon - Fortnite 25 Shield, capping at Shield - Icon - Fortnite 50 Shield. Not taking damage allows for it to be transferred between rounds, unless side switching occurs.

In Fortnite: Ballistic, Instant Shield was a Consumable that cost Credits - Currency - Ballistic 500 Credits.
