Frag Grenade (Ballistic)

Functionality[]

Frag Grenades are thrown by the player using the arc provided. When thrown, the grenade activates a two-second timer. After the timer ends, it explodes, dealing damage within a 5 meter radius around the detonation point.

In Fortnite: Ballistic, Frag Grenade was a Flex Gadget, two were granted at the start of each round when selected.

Frag Grenade is a slow moving projectile that is affected by gravity.

• With their short fuse time, Frag Grenades are a great finishing option against opponents behind cover. This is especially true with the Sovereign Sniper, as a body shot from this weapon allows a single Frag Grenade to confirm an elimination.
• Frag Grenades are a good counter to Med-Mist Smoke Grenades, as the blast radius will most likely hit opponents inside the smoke, either dealing good damage or outright eliminating them.

• A Bubble Shield and The Wall can block explosions from Frag Grenades. Do note that each explosion deals heavy structure damage.
