Overview
Overview[]
The Ice Kingdom is an order of knights, with the goal of collecting items across The Omniverse that are deemed too dangerous to exist. After The Prisoner tried to convince everyone to use artifacts and beings to alter realities to their liking, The Ice King froze him with all the other knights before turning the ice on himself. However after a cosmic storm tore off part of The Ice Moon, the Polar Peak Castle crashed onto the island, and allowed The Prisoner free himself and form his own kingdom. The two factions became rivals, until the fall of The Fire Kingdom following the Prisoner's defeat. After the death of The Devourer, The Ice King returned on the Ice Moon and made it unlivable for all being in order to avoid anyone to get their hands on the dangerous artifacts and beings stored there.
However, during Chapter 7: Season 2, they affiliated themselves with the Dark Voyager and by extension, The Last Reality. They began working on the reconstruction of The Zero Point, a goal noted to be weird by The Foundation given their initial objective to protect reality from dangerous artifacts.

History
History[]
Before Chapter 1[]
The Ice King and his brave knights resided on The Ice Moon, collecting items and beings of power deemed too dangerous to exist across the infinite Omniverse. But one day, The King's staunchest comrade, the Fire Elemental, came up with the idea of using those items to alter and conquer Realities across The Omniverse as they please. This led to a huge argument, causing The King to be left with no choice other than freezing the Fire Elemental, the other knights, their collection and their fortresses on the Ice Moon, now making the traitor a Prisoner. He then brought the Ice Moon to Reality Zero, where he believed it would be isolated and safe. He turned the ice upon himself, in an attempt to cause an eternal slumber.
Season 6[]
In a cosmic storm, a piece of the Ice Moon, known as Polar Peak, a place that housed the frozen Ice King, broke off and landed in the ocean of the Athena island. It appeared from the southwest of the Island, getting closer.
Season 7[]
As the snow melted and the Ice King woke up, he sensed danger afoot. Realizing that The Prisoner was breaking free and causing the ice to melt, he had to prepare to stop him. The King charged his power alongside a shard of a Cube to unleash an Ice Storm and summon his own Ice Legion. Along with his Queen, they guarded the Snow Biome to keep things safe and secure.
However, their attempts were in vain, as The Prisoner managed to escape his chains, taking with him the eggs of the Brood and by traveling Athena, managed to break his remaining chains and recover his powers, finding respite in the Wailing Woods.
Season 8[]
The Prisoner creates the Volcano to serve as his castle, forming a throne inside, and the Hybrid eggs hatch, whom now serve their newly-titled King. The Ice King and his forces fight against "Fire King"'s army to prevent him unleashing worse dangers. Around some time, Ruin was created to act as the right-hand man of The Fire Kingdom, tasked with spreading dread to those in their way, with Ember, the Ashen Guard, protecting the throne until the final clash. In their final duel, The Ice King defeated The Fire Kingdom's forces and froze their king underwater for eternity. But ultimately, he failed in his duty as his former friends was able to make his Volcano erupt, hitting Retail Row, Tilted Towers and Polar Peak, which led to a deadlier menace breaking free.
Season 9[]
With Polar Peak melting, The Devourer lets loose and the King gathers his recaptured Prisoner and returns to his Moon in shame and defeat, causing deadly snowstorms to wipe out all beings, living or unliving to isolate his castle and prevent anything else from accessing it. The Devourer would sense the energy of The Zero Point after some time and locates it. However, despite the Ice King's leave, The Devourer itself would be stopped by The Paradigm and Singularity's Mech built by The Government and the Imagined Order.
Chapter 3: Season 2[]
Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War Issue 4[]
While Thor and Storm were struggling to alleviate the weather conditions of the Ice Moon so that The Seven could repair the Mech, Doctor Doom, as well as Jones' team, went onto the frozen moon, each for their own goals. After finding a castle, Jones' team entered inside after seeing that the vibranium door that sealed it was melted by Doom, thanks to the Zero Shard. Inside they found themselves facing The Ice King, asleep on his throne. As they advanced, Jones activated a trap and a projection of The Ice King appeared in front of them, greeting them and congratulating them on making it this far. After explaining his story to them, he also revealed that their presence on his moon proved to him that they were too dangerous for the Omniverse, so The Ice King then intensified his ice power, to make the conditions on the moon even worse than they were prior to trap them permanently. The heroes would escape his trap, with The Paradigm destroying a portion of the Castle in their path of escape, and The Kingdom remains frozen, seemingly forevermore.
Chapter 4: Season OG[]
In Reality: UN-0-C4OG, an alternate timeline of Reality Zero, the same piece of the Ice Moon arrives on the Island like from our Timeline, but The Ice King and The Prisoner are nowhere to be found. The Polar Peak Castle is already gone and The Devourer seems to have already broken free from the iceberg by the time of the Iceberg's arrival, leaving the Kingdom's state in that reality questionable.
OG Chapter 1: Season 7[]
The Ice Moon arrives in Reality: Unknown just like it did on Athena. Hidden within Polar Peak and the surrounding area lies The Infinity Blade, the eggs of the Brood, and the dungeon where the eternally burning captain of the endless seas, Pyreheart, is imprisoned, kept locked away after an unknown squabble between the two led to the defeat of the captain. As time progressed, the ice would begin to melt, exposing these ancient items and creatures. Meanwhile, Void Walker Lynx watches the Snow Biome[4] and warns her trainee of the boss watching them.[5]
The Ice King, looking with a vengeance,[6] emerges into his Icy Sphere, preparing an Ice Storm as he grows and mixes his energy with a shard of the Cube. The Clock ticking down, he breaks free, and utilizing a Giant hologram, snow encompasses the Island with spawners coming up from the ground, allowing the Ice Legion to run amuck once more.
After the Ice King vanished off to Reality: 266, the ice melts enough to allow Pyreheart to break his chains and he leaves with the hatches of The Brood. After regaining his powers, he would combat with The Ice Legion meant to contain him, emerging triumphant. Following his victories, he would then find respite near Wailing Woods, where he would create a magma chamber under the ground, generating several earthquakes and cracks in the ground over time, with the aim of forming a Volcano. These plans would also lead to an opening for a Lagoon for his Crew, and a throne for them to bow to their Captain.
Chapter 7: Season 2[]
Prologue[]
During the Final Wave in Reality: 266, the Dark Voyager restored the core of the Zero Point and shard distortions appeared all over the Golden Coast. In the meantime, The Foundation arrives in Reality: 266, joining the New Seven. At some point, he and The Order got rid of their current sets of armor and constructed new ones. But just as the team of heroes is mostly reunited, three Zero Point Shards are brought on the Island, bringing different realities and merging them with the Island.
The Ice King and his Frigid Fortress cover the northern part of the Island, Reality: 7021's Squibbly Shores takes the place of Bumpy Bay while, near the New Sanctuary, a shard contaminates the waters near Looper's Leap. The Ice King poses himself as a new threat for the Golden Coast, looking to freeze whoever holds enough power, deeming them unworthy. Among his collection there are the restless spirit Orelia, the warrior Guan Yu, the first Avenger Captain America and The Prisoner, his former knight. While on the Island, the Ice King adds Human Bill and Peely to his throne room prisoners.
The New Seven prepared a first strike against the Ice King. However, during the operation, The Foundation was frozen and imprisoned inside the Ice King's Vault. At the same time, the Dark Voyager sought out the ruler of the Ice Kingdom in an attempt to secure an alliance. Arriving at Frigid Fortress, he was permitted passage through the throne room by the Frozen Knights before presenting his offer to the Ice King. In exchange for assistance in rebuilding the Zero Point, the Voyager proposed using the Ice Kingdom's power to keep the elements in sync. The Ice King accepted the offer and agreed to aid the Dark Voyager in his mission.
Lady Windfrost of the Elemental Court contains different personal beliefs compared to that of her predicament. She believes The Dark Voyager to sing out of key from her icy loyalty, for she does want the elements in sync, but she believes that not one individual should hold authority over every element. For her, the very nature of the cold is what truly matters, she just may be forced to literally melt through her obstacles sometimes. Either way, she and her allies of the Elemental Court stand together to serve their King against The New Seven and their allies. On the flipside, The Dark Voyager is utilizing propaganda posters to promote an idealistic future with the Zero Point and grants a proposal for the people to join his army for his supposed view of a Utopia.
In response, the New Seven and their allies launched a rescue mission to locate the Foundation. Using a sensor device, they tracked him down and activated the device integrated into his recovered suit to melt the ice imprisoning him. As The Order, The Visitor, Jones, and Hope advanced through the Fortress amid the icy winds, the Foundation broke free from the ice and defeated one of the Ice King's Frozen Knights. He then pushed through the Fortress and reached the throne room, where he confronted the Ice King directly. During the battle, the Foundation dodged several ice blasts fired by the Ice King, accidentally destroying Peely's frozen body in the process and freeing Human Bill from his frozen pillar. Despite the intensity of the clash, the confrontation ultimately ended in a stalemate, leaving The Foundation having to retreat and regroup for future battles.
Act I: Rise of the King[]
Following the Foundation's liberation, the Dark Voyager and the Ice King devised a new strategy. While the Ice King would wage what was described as a "personal" war against the Foundation and force the Islanders to choose between the Ice Kingdom and the New Seven, the Dark Voyager would remain free to continue searching for the Zero Point Shards. Meanwhile, the New Seven reorganized their own operations. Hope and the Order remained at New Sanctuary to coordinate preparations, while Jones, the Looper, and the Foundation stayed on the battlefield to continue the fight. At the same time, the Visitor dedicated his time on patrolling, dealing with Void Walker Lynx and studying the Shards.
As part of his plan to help the Voyager, but also because of his oversized ego, unable to bear the fact that the Foundation had escaped from his collection, the Ice King and his Kingdom waged a war against him and the New Seven, deeming them unworthy. Several confrontations took place between him and The Foundation, while the New Seven reorganized and tried to learn the fate of the lost members of the Seven. The Ice King would personally recruit The Looper for several operations, unaware of their allegiance to the New Seven. In the meantime, the Dark Voyager would rift into Reality: Unknown where his attention would turn to the hidden Vault, under Kevin's remains, before rifting away again, for it was the right place, but the wrong time.
Act II: The Elites[]
As the battle between the New Seven and the Ice Kingdom rages on, the Looper gets involved in Squibbly's rivalry with Fishstick; the former joined the ranks of the Ice King, with he and his people swearing eternal allegiance to him while Fishstick aligns with the Foundation. Recruiting the Looper, Squibbly prepares them to defeat Fishstick by making them train to swim before later arming them with weapons from Squibbly Shores. The Looper was then sent to diminish and fish out Fishstick's supplies beneath Golden Spots and then scare away customers from Sticks, greatly impacting Fishstick's restaurant and leaving it without stock nor customers.
In the meantime, the Dark Voyager ended in Homebase's homeworld, still searching for the final Zero Shard. In turn, after the battle between the Voyager's drones in their reality, some of Homebase members, Lars, Ray, Penny and Jess ended in Reality: 266, and eventually joined the side of The Foundation against the Ice King after learning of their histories. After a week however, The Harvester rifted away once more.
Few days after, facing a dangerous situation, Fishstick nevertheless found an ally. One of the Chef Squibblies decided to investigate on Fishstick following the common thought of his people considering him evil. In truth, Princess Felicity Fish always supported Fishstick, but the other Squibblies never listened. Unlike the rest of his kind, he realized the entire situation was a misunderstanding. Considering the Sticks restaurant profitable and needing a chef, he joined Fishstick, getting hired by Sticks and managed to turn things around by offering new dishes made with "synthetic squids," allowing the restaurant to recover and experience a surge in customers.
At the same time, however, the disappearance of the Squibbly Chef who helped Fishstick, now dubbed the Missing Ink, along with Sticks' rising sales, worried his fellow Squibblies. One of the Chef Squibblies recruited The Looper for help, first asking them to investigate Sticks' calamari menu by looking for the Dine and Splash bags. He then revealed that they were searching for the Missing Ink, their most beloved Fishelin-star chef, sending them to search for any clues.
Finding none, the Looper were then sent to reinforce themselves with more weapons and healing supplies, as they can't regenerate naturally unlike Squibblies. They were then sent to fight the Dread Punisher Squibbly to find out what he knows about the Missing Ink; however, he knew nothing at all, leaving the Squibbly Chef out of leads on where to look. A bit after, the Dark Harvester would return to Reality: 337, where the Elite Stronghold was located. Once the Dark Voyager finally discovered the Seventh Shard's location, the Dark Voyager took it from the Elite Armory via tractor beam while being attacked unsuccessfully by the Elites' turrets, before returning in Reality: 266 along with the final shard.
Elite Jules has been on the Golden Coast for a while, but bad news showed up when her old friend Dasha officially joined the ranks of the Ice Kingdom and supplied them with IO's recon scanners. Zadie, leader of the Elites, tasked Jules with a very important task: Construction of powerful Cube weaponry to defeat both The Dark Voyager and The Ice Kingdom with, and Jules succeeded on inventing the Cube Rifles and the Cube Splitter SMGs.
Upon the following few weeks, Jones tried to help the Foundation by reiterating his mission to stop the Dark Voyager rather than the Ice King; still, Foundation's grudge got the better of him as the Ice King anticipated his rage and when and how to provoke him. Shortly after, the Visitor continued his research into the Shards, analyzing the Dark Harvester's movements, its rifts and energy output alike. Likewise, a radio tower was also established for Jones to track the Dark Harvester and the Ice King's movements. In the end, the Visitor implied that the Harvester had the energy output necessary to rebuild the Zero Point, for Hope and Jones were once holding out hope the Voyager couldn't do this at all, but the situation remains as dire as it has ever been.
Act III: Answer the Call[]
The Ice King and his allies, attempting to eliminate both Fishstick and Jones once and for all, are driven off by the Overwatch crew, consisting of D.Va, Genji, Tracer, and Mercy, who are now siding with the New Seven. Nevertheless, the Ice King persistently provokes the Foundation to end this vendetta once and for all. While Jones continues to reiterate the importance of the Foundation focusing on the bigger picture, he continues his investigation on the Voyager's master, who is pulling the strings of these rivalries around the Island.[7]
The Dark Voyager and the Ice King are ready to fulfill their goals. Per his master's request, the Dark Voyager brings about chaos as a precursor to order by stocking up his armory and attacking the people of the Golden Coast directly. When the Dark Voyager describes rivalries as colonies of bees invading each other, he twist them to his advantage to buy him some time to repair the Zero Point. Following their success, the Ice King practices his combat ability and agility while scavenging items for his Fortress. Every task fulfilled, The Dark Voyager and The Ice King watch as the final Zero Point Shard is placed at Dark Dominion for the reformation of the Zero Point.
