- — Jones
Peely is a young Banana from the Peely tribe, one of Jones' best friends and a "legendary" figure of the island, serving as one of the key members of The Resistance and later becoming the superhero who goes by the name "Peelverine" of The Underground.
Personality
Personality[]
Peely is a quiet banana, initially believed to have minimal intelligence, he was revealed to be more intelligent and thoughtful than he usually poses, when the situation actually really requires it. Most of the time he acts like an idiot and and loves putting himself in all kinds of dangerous situations from jumping into an active Volcano, goofing around in The Loop, driving truck through a literal warzone or just getting kidnap into a hostage situation. Peely loves being the center of attention.
Peely also seems to model his personality on others; when becoming Peelverine, he completely copied Wolverine's personality, even taking on his speech quirks and violence.
Appearance
Appearance[]
Peely is literally a banana with human arms and human legs. It would seem that inside his banana peel is just a normal banana, meaning that he might be edible and has been turned into a smoothie. However, the existence of the Peely Bone Outfit calls his physiology into question. Upon inspection, it seems that Peely possesses an entire skeletal structure and intestines. Other organs are presumably omitted due to concerns with gore. While it seems that Peely does possess banana matter within his body, it is more or less contained within his ribcage and pelvis (presumably it makes up the majority of his limbs) rather than being what Peely's body is solely comprised of. It is unknown, however, if the Peely Bone Outfit actually says anything about Peely or whether it is its own kind of species.

Season 9[]
After being trapped for decades, if not centuries, Jones, who turned into Bunker Jonesy and Peely, who became a smoothie were freed by Sentinel, Vega and Rox and discovered Neo Tilted. However, during their imprisonment in the Bunker, the act of devouring Peely allowed Bunker Jonesy to see visions of both the past and the future. In one of these visions, he saw a fight between a Kaiju and a Mecha that would happen in the near future and tried to warn the inhabitants of The Island. At some point, Jones would escape The Loop, leaving behind the Bunker Jonesy snapshot.

Over the course of the Takedown Quests, Jones, Hope, and The Looper work together to Eliminate Legion Guards and Elites, Steal Society Medallions, and defeat the Bosses of the Society, which culminate in Jones finally Rescuing Peely from Fencing Fields.

During Absolute Doom Event, Peely was seen fighting Doom alongside his Underground friends.
Chapter 6[]
Peely followed Jones, Hope and The Looper, being likely inside the Battle Bus that followed them to Reality: 783. He is seen on several occasions hanging out with Jones, and sometimes involved in conflicts such as those against the Galactic Empire, the establishment of the Supernova Academy, the battle against the Onimorphs, and the emergence of the Dark Presence. He was also one of the Loopers who rifted to Springfield Island, collaborating with Jones, Hope, and the Looper to retrieve the Zero Shard, before returning to fight the Dark Presence in Oninoshima.
Chapter 7: Season 1[]
Following again Jones and co in a new Reality, Peely was chosen by the film director Kingston to star in his movie: Peelian. A movie based on banana alien invaders. Although some of the staff such as Kingston or Carter Wu were worried about him, they hoped he could become a star. Trivia
Trivia[]
- In Chapter 2: Season 5, Peely could have been found stuck in Carbonite in the Mandalorian's apartment in Hunter's Haven.

- Peely has been seen speaking once with his voice pitched down under the alias of "John Doe" to not reveal his identity in the Chapter 2: Season 7 Story Trailer, saying "Then... the rest of them showed up." John Doe is a name given to someone who is generic and unidentifiable, and so was used to hide Peely's identity. It's unknown why Peely is able to talk.
- According to dialogue said by Rick Sanchez, Peely also knows how to create slurp.
- Bushranger warns not to eat a banana in front of him.
- It is possible that Peely knows The Imagined's plans, considering his special Outfit reaction when talking to a player wearing The Imagined.

- Peely is apparently one of the lynchpin holding together The Omniverse, according to The Oracle.

- However, in Peely's case, this seems to apply to the entire Omniverse.

Game File: (While the island was Fornite’s main character, the game did wind up with some memorable cast members, including Peely, the weird banana man. He exists in the game to troll Mustard’s younger brother, Chad, who has hated bananas since childhood. As an adult, Donald would buy Chad joke banana gifts and recalls pitching Fortnite art director Pete Ellis on a banana character to take his needling to a new level. At first, they thought Peely could be a man in a banana suit. Then they decided, no, a sentient banana. “The more you play the match, it rots,” Mustard says. “The original Peely gets browner and browner and spotted over 22 minutes. That would just be so weird.”
