- Carter Wu's name in the Portuguese version of Fortnite is changed to Bruce Lindo, which is a pun and reference to the actor Bruce Lee, who was also a martial artist and stunt performer.
- Carter Wu's Dare Devil Carter style is based on the Marvel Comics superhero Daredevil, who notably wore a red and yellow suit and included nunchaku-like billy clubs in his arsenal.
- Carter Wu is the second male Outfit in the game to feature nipples (through his Black Dragon and Golden Dragon styles) after Tighty Whities Homer, and the first original Outfit to do so.
- Carter Wu has a dojo in Breaker Beach on Surf City island.

Stuntman: Hit a player within 15 meters after busting through a door
This is easiest with a breakaway door, but we'll manage.
Stuntman: Eliminate players within 10 seconds of mantling
You'll need speed and precision for this one.
Stuntman: Damage players while airborne or sliding
Make it look good for the camera.
Action Hero: Get headshots while aiming down sights
Take a shot. Make it count.
Action Hero: Damage players with shotguns or SMGs
Time to cowboy up.
Action Hero: Eliminate players consecutively without reloading
