The Elites is an organization of mercenaries made up of elite fighters from various realities, the best of the best defined as "Fast, sharp, able to face a hundred foes and come out on top".[3] The organization was founded by the SHADOW agent Zadie.[4]
They are a major organization in Fortnite, serving as a supporting organization during Chapter 6 and a major organization during Chapter 7.

The Elites is an organization founded at an unknown time by Zadie.[4] The organization watches over "competitors" and ranks them, with those reaching the rank of Elite invited to join them.[5] The organization is also studying the mysterious power of the Siphon, which allows its user to steal their opponent's vitality in order to take the competition to a "whole new level".[6]
Throughout their lifespan, The Elites have conquered many challenges, including defeating kings, battling gods & destroying multiple worlds, all while finding the best of the best to increase their numbers and gain more skillful in the process of communication, practice & determination.[7] They do this through their takeover of realities with their Zero Shard and Cube Mine.

After going MIA for years, he came back and joined the Order and the alternate Visitor, now the New Seven, in the fight against the Ice King and the Dark Voyager. A warrior of great renown from another Reality.[8] Zadie met with The Looper and informed them of their group and what they do.[9] Although they did not appear to accept recruitment, they were tested several times afterwards under various circumstances, notably by Jules, then Zadie herself in their Arena. |
 Hope |
Descendant of a god of The Pantheon and hero of Helios and Oninoshima. Together with Jones and the Looper, she is attempting to take down the Dark Voyager. During Chapter 7: Season 1, she received multiple encrypted messages from The Elites, indicating an attempt at recruitment or at least, initial contact. |

Chapter 6: Season 2[]
Zadie arrives on Oninoshima Island in Reality: 783 to scout and rank people.[10] She's interested in The Looper.
Chapter 7: Season 1[]
After an indefinite period of time, Daigo, now decided to face up to his past mistakes, accepted Zadie's invitation and joined the Elites, obtaining a new set of armor to reflect his new allegiance and desire for combat to prove himself in a brighter light in the aftermath of the war against the Dark Presence.
Later, they would begin sending coded message to Hope, going over their motivations & history to her, including their recruitment of her old frenemy Daigo. Upon hearing this, she contacts The Looper for help in seriously impressing The Elites, all in an attempt to get the team together as allies for the upcoming battle, including securing The Basement as a warehouse for their faction once they arrive on the Golden Coast.[11]

- Before turning into an organization important to the storyline, The Elites simply served as a canonization in lore of Fortnite Ranked.
- Elites must not be confused with the homonym term designating wealthy people, such as members of The Society.
- Hope had to fight Society Elites her whole life. Working with The Elites is ironic in that regard, if relieving.
