Umbrellas[]

Main Articles: The Umbrella (Bronze), The Umbrella (Silver), The Umbrella (Gold), The Umbrella (Platinum).
Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Victory Umbrellas refers to set of Umbrellas that were never fully implemented into Battle Royale. They would likely have been rewarded for Victory Royale milestones, such as 10, 25, 50 etc.

Charms[]

Shortly before Chapter 2: Season 1, an unused menu for was found referring to Charms as a Cosmetic Item. The menu referred to them as 'more than just new cosmetic items these dynamic accessories show off your personal achievements'. It is unknown if they will ever be introduced to the game.[14]

Shout Emotes[]

Shout Emotes were an unreleased script that would have allowed the player to produce a text bubble above their head with a specific message, similar to both Emoticons and the way a Character displays dialogue. These were never implemented into the game, and the code for them was removed sometime in Chapter 2: Season 2.

Other Scrapped Features

Other Scrapped Features[]

Molten Gold[]

Works similar to Jungle Mud from Chapter 4: Season 3 but it would give player Pepper Effect instead of slipperly effect.

Augments (C5:S1)[]

Reality Augments for Chapter 5: Season 1 can be found in the files.

X-4 Stormwing (C3:S4)[]

During Chapter 3: Season 4, several runways were introduced across the map. It was planned that the X-4 Stormwing was to be unvaulted for a Wild Week or Permanent, but never came to fruition. The Runways remained to the end of the season.

Tactics Showdown[]

Tactics Showdown is a scrapped Limited Time Mode from Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was leaked around Season 4.

Annual Pass[]

Main Article: Annual Pass 2020.

The Annual Pass (2020) was an early concept of the Fortnite Crew which was going to allow a user to purchase it for 7,200 V-Bucks, and get exclusive cosmetic items and Battle Pass progress. It was confirmed to only be a prototype, after it was data-mined in Update v11.30, and due to its removal, some of the cosmetics associated with it are yet to be released.

Save the World Cosmetic Shop[]

Sometime during Season 7, the Battle Royale Item Shop was to be accessible via Save the World. This for whatever reason was never implemented.[15]

Battle Book[]

The Battle Book was an early unused concept for the Battle Pass, scheduled to release at the end of Season 1. It was pushed back and eventually added in Season 2, with the normal pass that is now familiar to the game.[16] Strangely, this pass contained 100 Tiers, rather than the 70 which were included in the first few passes.

Battle Bucks[]

A cut currency originally intended solely for Battle Royale.[17]

Compendium Challenges[]

Compendium Challenges were challenge bundles you could purchase with Battle Bucks that let you earn items from doing the challenges. Total rewards for doing every challenge in the 3 bundles were 27,200 XP and 600 Battle Bucks.[18]

Crystals[]

Crystals were an item that was implented in the first prototype builds of Fortnite from 2011-2012. Not much is known about them aside from them increasing the player's maximum health as seen in the only two gameplay videos of this build and that they could be obtained via killing Monsters.
