Shout Emotes

Shout Emotes were a planned type of Emote in Fortnite: Battle Royale that were removed from the files.
They would have allowed players to produce a text bubble and a “shout” above their head with a specific message, similar to both Emoticons and the way a Character displays dialogue. Players around them would hear the message.

They were added with Chapter 2: Season 2, but were removed a week later, on February 26th 2020. It was likely removed due to Copyright however the true reason is on why it was scrapped is unknown.
