Overview
Guards[]
Dober Men were hostile Guards in Fortnite: Battle Royale that were introduced during Chapter 6: Mini Season 2.
Description
Description[]
Dober Men can be found at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and Burns Manor but are not out patrolling. Instead, a big red button on Mr. Burns' desk can be interacted with to Release The Hounds!, causing them to spawn all around the Named Locations. Interacting with the button makes the Dober Men neutral to the team of the player who released them, but destroying it makes all of them hostile to everyone.
Once the first Storm circle closes in, two Dober Men will also appear at any active KBBL Radio Towers being led by a Dober Man Boss. These Dober Men are hostile to everyone regardless if the player who approached them pressed the big red button.
The Dober Men found in Named Locations do not drop their weapons when eliminated, only dropping a Healing Item, Bars, and Materials. But the ones appearing at the KBBL Radio Towers drop a random Rare Ranged Weapon for the Guards, and either an Epic or Legendary Ranged Weapon for the Bosses.

Trivia
Trivia[]
- Like the Kintsugi Demon Guards and Alpha Guards previously, the Dober Men use the same base model as the Chapter 6: Season 1 Demon Guards, donning gunmetal gray hound masks with green radiation glowing eyes and uniforms that sport the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant logo on their frontplate, and the H.O.U.N.D.S. SECURITY label on their backplate.
- The head model is reused from the Guard Dogg Heavies from Chapter 2 Remix, likely to save development time and due to the shape matching the doberman dog breed, which both Snoop Dogg and Mr. Burns associate with.
- The Dober Man's Epic TBD Outfit ID is Character_FloorMist_NPC.
- Additionally, the Dober Man's Outfit codename lacks Robed, similar to the Kintsugi Demon Guards and unlike the Alpha Guards and Demon Guards.
- The Dober Men are a reference to The Hounds, a hostile group of security dogs Mr. Burns sicks onto people in the show.
- Their name is a reference to the breed of dog the hounds are, being purebred doberman dogs.
- Because the Dober Men that hold the KBBL Radio Tower Access Card are regarded as Bosses, they are also Slightly Taller.
- The Dober Men are the first Guards to have a unique icon for Visualized Sounds.
- While the Dober Men released in Named Locations feature unique dog-like barking voicelines, both the Guards and leading Boss that appear at KBBL Radio Towers reuse the IO Guards' Chapter 2: Season 7 voicelines.
