Overview
Guards[]
Henchfans are neutral Guards in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced during Chapter 7: Season 1.
Description
Description[]
Two of one type or both types of Henchfans will always appear with a Boss, praising them through Emotes. They will only attack the player on sight if they attack them, their Boss, they aim their weapon at them for too long, or they get too close to them or the Boss to slowly build up suspicion.
Two Henchfans can also be summoned by players wielding a Boss' Kit, where they will appear from golden rifts, follow the Player Boss and attack other players on sight until they are either eliminated or the Boss Kit's ability expires.
The Henchfans come in two colors, which determines what weapon they hold.
Emotes
Emotes[]
The Henchfans will do the following Emotes if not disturbed while fanning over a Boss:
| Autograph, Please! | Yay! | Jubilation |
|---|---|---|
| Go! Go! Go! | My Idol! | Hang on |
Loot
Loot[]
Henchfans drop the following items when eliminated. They also drop a Healing Item and Bars.

Trivia
Trivia[]
- The White and Black Henchfans' Epic TBD Outfit IDs are Character_CannyShim_NPC and Character_CannyGulf_NPC.
- The designs of the White and Black Henchfans bear a strange similarity to the GHOST Henchmen and SHADOW Henchmen from Chapter 2 Remix. Even utilizing the same Security Pass ID model.
- A suspicious detail to note is the golden cube pattern on the Henchfans' caps, which appears very similar to The Dark Voyager's Dark Harvester's centerpiece and rebranding of Lethal Labs. Despite this, there is no other connection between the Henchfans and him.
- Though there were numerous moments where Guards were either neutral to one team of players, able to be converted to a team after knocking them out, or on a team where players can't harm them, the Henchfans are the first Guards that can be directly summoned by a player in Battle Royale to fight on their side against other players.
- The Henchfans reuse the voicelines of the IO Guards from Chapter 2: Season 7, but have a unique Walkie Talkie loop when summoned by a Player Boss.
