Splinter Blades

Appearance[]

The Splinter Blades appear as small daggers, with small pieces of the Zero Point's broken shell as the blade. Symbols of The Night Rose can be found on the handles. When the blade is active, it will be magically overflowing with the Power of Creation.

History[]

Chapter 6: Season 1[]

During Splinter of Possibility, The Looper came to investigate the whereabouts of the mysterious comet, later learned to be a Zero Point Shard and the artifact Jones and Hope have been looking for all along. During their investigations, The Looper found a Splinter of the Shard, and showed it to Hope who asked them to search for more. After three of the Splinters were found, Hope realized it might be the key to saving Jade, and Kendo had the idea to transform them into a weapon.

The Looper then went to Demon's Dojo, in order to use the Spirit Forge in order to forge the Splinters into two powerful blades capable of freeing Jade. However, not knowing how to use them properly, they went to ask The Night Rose, temporarily freeing her from The Puppeteer's control in the process. The cunning Demon—recognizing the blades could save both her and Jade—took the blades with her, revealing she knows who to give them.

Receiving the blades from The Night Rose, Daigo prepared his ritual near Warrior's Watch using his masks to progressively open the portal. After fully opening the portal, Daigo merged his six masks into a single powerful Mask of Power and used his Chaos Magic to extract Jade. However, Shogun X recaptured Jade through her magical bonds, before emerging from the portal and violently attacking Daigo. Shogun X attempted to destroy Daigo with his magic, but the latter's mask protected him and made him take a giant form.

A confrontation ensued between the Shogun X and Daigo, who used the blades as his weapons. However, the Shogun overpowered Daigo and defeated him. But in a fit of arrogance, the demon gave Daigo time to take back his blades and merge them into one before piercing him, disintegrating him into chaotic mess of magical remains. After the confrontation, the blades returned to their initial state.

Chapter 6: Season 2[]

During Daigo's Fate Event, Daigo equipped the Splinter Blades once again before entering the Spirit Realm.

Chapter 6: Season 3[]

The Blades were kept by Mask Maker Daigo, but remained unused.

Chapter 6: Season 4[]

During the preparation for the fight against the Dark Presence in the Spirit Realm, The Looper went to recover the Splinter Blades from Daigo, the latter realising it wasn't his fate to save the Island with them, handed them over to them, asking The Looper to do what he failed to do: to cut through the veil and save everyone.

• During The Confrontation Event, an echoey female's voice can be heard from the merged splinter blade.
