Floor Freeze Traps are a trap that activates when enemies walk over it and it freezes all enemies in its range for short time. It has a somewhat higher reload speed so having more than one is recommended.

A single Freeze Trap, when perked properly, will perma-freeze Husky Husks in place. This loadout assumes Trap Durability bonus form Survivor Squads are at minimum +100%; otherwise replace two impact.

Tips and Strategies

Tips and Strategies[]

  • This trap is similar to the Tar Pit, with the exception of not being able to stop charging Smashers in their tracks.
  • If perked correctly and used wisely, Floor Freezes can perma-stall enemies.
    • If one places Floor Freezes on the path facing the objective, this will cause husks to freeze for a short amount of time, then get knocked back the opposite direction.
      • If Ice King is in the support slot of your constructor build, it will make this strategy more helpful, as his B.A.S.E. snaring perk will increase stall time when B.A.S.E. is connected to Floor Freezes.
  • Enemies frozen by this trap are more vulnerable to damage from other sources. It's great when paired with Ceiling Gas Traps, and/or Broadsides.
