The Ceiling Gas Trap creates an area of effect (AOE) cloud that will affect enemies with damage over a period of time. It only damages enemies that stand directly in the gas, so it is recommended to put a Tar Pit or Floor Freeze Trap under it, or Wooden Floor Spikes to slow and keep Husks under the gas for longer. However, Gas Traps now clear those pesky bees, but make sure to call your local exterminator every now and then!

  • The Ceiling Gas Trap is efficient at the beginning of your trap tunnel closest to where the Monsters will spawn. This way, your enemies will lose a portion or all of its health as it attempts to reach the remaining of your tunnel/base.

  • The Ceiling Gas Trap used to apply affliction on Husks. This was changed later when the trap received other damage buffs.
    • The trap description still incorrectly mentions that it affects enemies with affliction.
