Tar Pit

Functionality[]

Tar Pit traps immobilize Husks, and when the tar is damaged, it ignites, inflicting Fire damage to all trapped enemies. They have low durability and consume more of it when the flames are triggered. Like the Wooden Floor Spikes, each Husk that steps into a Tar Pit immediately reduces its durability by 1.

• Tar Pits stop enemies in place similar to the Wooden Floor Spikes, except devastate them with an elemental blow of fire when triggered by shrapnel (not recommended).
  • Much like the Wooden Floor Spikes, each enemy that steps into the Tar Pit takes away 1 durability each. This is why it is recommended to run all Durability perks on it, since this trap has very low base durability.
• As such, it’s recommended to not use Tar Pits in the middle of a tunnel, but at the end of one to stop any charging Smashers.
